Day Shift August 6
24-0010024 – 1400 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Police responded to this location after a rideshare driver advised her passenger had jumped out of the vehicle while she was driving. Simultaneously, the passenger called dispatch and stated her driver attempted to kidnap her by drugging her with a white powdery substance. The driver did not consent to a vehicle search, but police did not see any white powder in plain view. The incident was found to have occurred in Chattanooga and CPD was notified.
24-010039 – 1000 BLK John Ross Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was found to have a warrant out of East Ridge for Alias Capias – Driving on Revoked. He was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-010031 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Arrest – During a follow-up to a case from the previous evening a man was taken into custody on Hamilton County warrants for aggravated burglary, custodial interference and assault.
24-010040 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Arrest – A man was taken into custody on multiple warrants through Catoosa County. He was transported to Hamilton County jail to await extradition.
24-010042 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Arrest – A woman was dropped off for a mental health evaluation. She became verbally aggressive with staff and created a disorderly environment in the emergency room. The party was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to jail.
24-010043 & 24-010047 – 1000 BLK Altamaha Street – Arrests – Officers responded to a disorder. Police learned a man had an active TPO filed against him by a woman, who was also on scene. As he was taken into custody for the active order and the protected party became enraged. She was verbally assaultive towards officers and screamed continuous profanities. She refused to calm herself and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. Both were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-010041 – 1100 BLK John Ross Road – Disorder Prevention – Police assisted East Ridge Animal Services in recovering a dog that was abandoned in a home that was also abandoned. The dog had no access to water or food and was living in conditions that were not optimal for an animal. The dog was removed from the premises and taken by East Ridge Animal Control.
Night Shift August 624-003382 – 1800 BLK Parkway Drive – Warrant Service – The Chattanooga Police Department located a man at this location during a theft investigation. He was found to have an arrest warrant through East Ridge for Shoplifting. ERPD Officers responded to the location, arrested him, and transported him to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-010058 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – The RP reported his Samsung Galaxy A14 missing. He stated he left the phone in a shopping cart. The man returned to the location and observed a red pickup truck flee the scene at a high rate of speed. Police spoke with staff who advised they did not have access to the security camera video. Police will request a copy of the video and work to identify the theft suspect.
24-010061—400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Aggravated Assault – A security guard reported an altercation with a female suspect. She stated that the woman became angry with her during a verbal argument and attempted to hit her with a car. Officers will review the security video for the incident when it is released by the site’s administration. An arrest warrant is pending a review of the security video.
24-010064 – 800 BLK S. Germantown Road – Disorder – Police were called to this area after a rideshare driver issued a distress alert. The driver reported an intoxicated passenger was given a ride to this location but refused to get out of the vehicle. After a short investigation, police determined the passenger lived on North Germantown Road and the address had been incorrectly entered into the rideshare application. Officers assisted the passenger in getting to his residence in Chattanooga.
