Day Shift August 2
24-009845 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – The caller reported a man walking west bound on Ringgold Road who appeared to have bags of Marijuana. The individual was known to officers and did not have Marijuana.
24-009852 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Arrest-Warrant – A woman turned herself in on an Alias Capias warrant and was released on bond from East Ridge Police Department.
Night Shift August 2
24-9882 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Drug Arrest / Fugitive Apprehension – A traffic stop for an expired registration resulted in the apprehension of a subject for outstanding warrants out of Kentucky and the arrest of a suspect for 38.6 grams of marijuana and 9.5 grams of methamphetamine. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail to be extradited on the Kentucky warrants and another was charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
24-9872 – 3400 BLK Maple Creek Lane – Traffic Stop / Warrant Arrest / Drug Arrest – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a swapped temporary tag. The driver was found to have seven active warrants out of Hamilton County and taken into custody without incident. He was further charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of Xanax (Schedule IV), possession of meth for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a probable cause search of his vehicle.
24-9875 – 800 BLK Belvoir Ave – Domestic Assault / Drug Arrest / Fugitive Apprehension – Police responded for a domestic assault complaint. A woman was in the back parking lot of the address. The investigation resulted in her arrest for drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Multiple warrants (drug-related) out of Florida were also verified, and paperwork was submitted to the Hamilton County Jail for extradition. She refused to cooperate with the domestic assault investigation.
Day Shift August 3
24-009896 – 5300 BLK Weaver Street – Suspicious Activity – A resident reported a young male checking security system in the area. His description was broadcast but the party was not located.
24-009897 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road– Theft- Between 1330 and 1340 hours on August 3, 2024, two unknown males stole a two-wheel boat trailer from the parking lot.
Night Shift August 3
24-009927 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – A traffic stop at this location for window tint resulted in the arrest of a man for possession of fentanyl for resale, possession of marijuana, and tampering with evidence. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-009915 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifters – Police responded to a delayed theft where two females were observed by surveillance shoplifting $71.00 of merchandise. The stolen items consisted of hair dye, eyelashes, and earrings. Police are investigating the identity of the suspects.
24-009921- 3600 BLK Missionaire Avenue – Domestic Assault – A woman called the police to report a domestic assault. While police did investigate and determine the suspect, the caller was uncooperative with officers and would not give an incident location or any details regarding the assault. The case was closed due to a lack of information and a lack of cooperation by the victim.
24-009929 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft from Vehicle – The caller reported sometime between 8:30 pm and 11:00 pm his truck had been broken into. He advised the responding officer that his Kimber .45 had been stolen along with several boxes of different ammo. The victim left his truck unlocked resulting in illegal entry to the vehicle. Police will be following up to obtain camera footage from the business.
Day Shift August 4
24-001082/24-002535 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road, Parkridge East Hospital – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on eleven (11) warrants stemming from two cases involving Aggravated Assault.
24-009946 – 600 BLK Layfield Road – Property-Found – The homeowner found a set of keys in their backyard. The property was recovered and placed into storage at the police department.
24-009956 – 3800 BLK Kingwood Circle – Theft-Motor Vehicle – A party called reporting her 2012 Scion was stolen. The car had been found abandoned in the 3500 block of Ringgold Road on August 3, after it was involved in a crash.
24-009963 – 5800 BLK Brainerd Road – Arrest-Warrant – A subject was arrested on an East Ridge warrant for Possession of Schedule II and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift August 4
24-009967 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police responded to a crash on I-75 around mile marker two. The vehicles continued traveling south after the crash and stopped in a restaurant parking lot. CPD responded to complete an incident report. A passenger of one of the vehicles had warrants in sessions court. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-009975—4300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Burglary in Progress – Police responded to a complaint about a burglary in progress. Responding officers observed signs of forced entry, possible items missing, and damage to the security system in the back office. The responsible party could not be reached when police attempted to make contact. A burglary report is on file under this complaint number should the day shift patrol manage to contact the responsible party on file.
24-009976 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Animal Call – Police were dispatched for an animal call. Police searched and found no signs of the animal inside the business or any injuries to the reporting party. Officers stayed on the scene until business was secured.
