The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
August 27 – Day Shift
6650 Ringgold Road (La Quinta Inn)- Auto Theft-
Upon arrival police met with the victim. The victim reported his 2018 white Nissan Frontier was parked at the Southern end of the parking lot and last checked on around 2200 hours on 8/26/2020. The victim came out of the hotel this morning to find his truck and trailer had been taken. The victim reported he did lock the door but had an extra set of keys on the inside of the truck. There was no indication of broken glass on scene. Vehicle was entered in NCIC. There were several firearms in the vehicle.
1512 Springvale Road- Vehicle Burglary-
The complainant came into the East Ridge Police Department Lobby and reported a theft that occurred on 8-21-20 at his residence. The complainant stated several power tools were taken from the bed of a white Nissan Titan overnight on 8-21 and he did not observe the theft. The complainant further stated he had a bed cover on the truck, but the suspect was able to open it and take the items from the vehicle. The suspect is unknown.
5080 South Terrace (AMC)- Suspicious Person-
While on patrol police encountered a homeless male sleeping behind the theater. He was advised to leave the property.
3412 Betty Lane- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a male staggering in the street. Upon arrival the male appeared to be having a medical emergency. EMS responded and transported him to Memorial Hospital.
North Mack Smith Road (Red Wolves Stadium)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a black male exited the wood line and handed him a dirty cup of water. Upon arrival police located the male and advised him to stay off stadium property. The male is a mental health consumer that had been released from the hospital earlier in the week.
Warrant Service-
Richard West was served two East Ridge warrants at 601.

August 27 –Night Shift
400 Interstate 75 NB, Chattanooga/Arrest Warrant:
Rayshawn A. Moore was arrested on an East Ridge Capias warrant for Driving on Revoked.
710 Summit Ave/Unknown Trouble:
Police were called to the area due to someone hearing a female screaming in the area of 708 Summit Ave. Police made contact with neighbors and was directed to 710 Summit Ave. Police encountered a male subject who ran to his vehicle and police could see a firearm in his waistband. The male party was arrested for resisting stop frisk, halt, simple possession, and disorderly conduct. The male was identified as Quinton Carter.
3400 Ringgold Road/Public Intoxication:
Police arrested an unknown Hispanic male after encountering him walking in the middle of Ringgold Road intoxicated. The male party could barely hold himself up. The male party could not give his name or address. The male was booked as John Doe.
5401 Ringgold Rd / Business Check / Narcotics Violation:
While conducting a business check at this location, police discovered Jonathan Wilhoite hiding in the bushes on the north side of the building. After police made contact with Wilhoite he advised police he waits for the bank to close and then uses their electricity to charge his electronics. During a consensual search, police located a small amount of methamphetamine. When police attempted to detain Wilhoite he attempted to flee from police. Wilhoite was charged accordingly.
6513 Ringgold Road / Disorder:
Linda Livingston, John Livingston, and Brandi Livingston were criminally trespassed from Waffle House after a disorder with a waitress about how long they had to wait to be served their food.

August 28 – Day Shift
4214 Ringgold Road (arrest):
Mickey Shurette was taken into custody at this location for public intoxication.
6515 Ringgold Road (vandalism):
The complainant ate lunch at Champy’s today and parked his work truck in a parking space which had an adjacent vehicle already parked on the dividing line. When the complainant returned to his vehicle the closely parked truck was gone, and someone had written a vulgar phrase in black marker on his truck along with a drawing of a penis.

August 28 – Night Shift
3600 block Parham (Overdose 20-011347):
Thirty year old female was found unresponsive after an apparent heroin overdose. Police administered Narcan to revive her. She was transported by EMS to Parkridge East.
1600 Prater Rd (Armed Person 20-011352):
Reporting party reported seeing an armed person walking in the Prater Rd & State Line Rd area. Nothing was located.
601 Walnut (Warrant Arrest 20-011355):
Wesley Norwood was booked on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
6514 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 20-011357):
Roger Owenby was arrested for DUI at this location after officers received a BOLO for an intoxicated driver early in the shift. A store clerk at Mapco stated she had refused to sell him beer earlier in the evening because of his level of intoxication.
1410 Mack Smith Room 2313 (Disorder 20-013358):
The complainant called police stating he and his girlfriend were in a disorder and she was being combative with him. Dispute was verbal only and both parties agreed to separate for the evening.
700 Shady Dr (Juvenile Arrest 20-011360):
Officers located a sixteen year old Hispanic male at approximately 0200 hours. The male had no identification and refused to have his parents pick him up. He was taken into custody for a curfew violation, driving without a license, possession of tobacco and resisting arrest.
1417 St Thomas (Auto Recovery 20-011361):
A stolen 2001 Lexus IS 250 was recovered on the parking lot of Motel 6 and released to the owner. The owner stated when the vehicle was stolen there were two firearms in a bag on the back seat. The firearms were not recovered with the vehicle (Sig 1911 and a Mini 14).
323 Frawley Rd (Public Intoxication 20-011362):
Destiny Lewis, Coty Gaston and Sean Carter were all arrested for public intoxication after officers investigated a vehicle crash at this location. The parties had left the scene on foot and police located them a short time later.
