August 22– Day Shift
525 S. St. Marks Avenue:
Police responded to this location three times regarding a disorder between a woman and her boyfriend. On the third arrival the woman left the residence to obtain an order of protection. The disorders were verbal.
4222 Ringgold Road:
A manager for Speedway, reported a juvenile female stole a soft drink and miscellaneous items from the store. Police checked the area but were unable to locate her.
601 Walnut Street:
Chelsea Lemay was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on an active East Ridge warrant for driving on revoked.

August 22 – Night Shift
6408 Ringgold Rd (Pedestrian struck):
A man was struck by an unknown vehicle in front of Dunkin Donuts. The man denied EMS and advised he was not injured.
4150 Ringgold Road (Shoplifting):
An unknown female stole a cart full of merchandise from Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. She then left the area in a maroon Dodge Dakota with a white camper shell.
4338 Ringgold Road:
Charles Byess was arrested on Hamilton County warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
1405 Choate Road (Residential Fire):
Police responded with ERFD to a residential fire at this location. The home was damaged in the fire.
3200 Gleason Dr (DUI 2nd Offense):
George Heulett was arrested for DUI 2nd offense at this location following a traffic stop.

August 23 – Day Shift
601 Walnut Street:
John Austin was arrested on an East Ridge warrant #ER133701 at 601.
601 Walnut Street:
Shenika Moore was detained and transported to 601 on Hamilton County warrants following a traffic stop.
525 South Saint Marks Avenue:
Domestic Assault- Dwight Land was arrested and charged after assaulting his girlfriend. She advised he hit her several times in the face and then strangled her to the point she almost blacked out. The victim had red marks on her ear and neck consistent with being hit or strangled.
5300 Ringgold Road:
Road Rage- The caller advised she was run off the road by a male driving a green sedan. She advised there was a confrontation in the roadway then she followed him to the Walgreens parking lot where she became uncomfortable. The male advised there was no confrontation. Both went their separate ways.
730 Germantown Circle:
(Germantown Gardens)- Disorder- Upon arrival police spoke with both parties involved and advised them to leave each other alone.
730 Germantown Circle #611:
(Germantown Gardens)- Robbery- The victim advised he was robbed at gunpoint by a black male, 6’2” with corn rows. The male then left the scene in a blue Dodge Challenger. CID also responded. This incident is still under investigation.
5700 block of Scott Street:
Shots Fired- The caller advised of hearing seven to eight shots in the area. Officers responded but located nothing out of the ordinary.
6712 Ringgold Road:
(Public Storage)- Burglary- The complainant advised her storage unit, d3 had been entered and property was taken.
4101 Ringgold Road:
(Mack’s Highway Mart)- Deceptive Practice- Upon arrival police spoke with the complainant. He reported on 08/16/2019 at approximately 1917hrs, a male subject, identified as Michael Wesley Barhite, presented a check made out to Southeast Personnel to be cashed. The complainant advised the check was in the amount of Five Hundred and Forty-Three Dollars and Nine Cents ($543.09). On this date the complainant stated he was contacted by his financial institution and advised the check was possibly altered or fictitious and returned to his business as a forgery. A warrant will be sought for Barhite.

August 23 – Night Shift
2145 Dugan St / Fraud:
The victim withdrew $19,000 from her retirement and placed it onto gift cards after being told to by a caller who identified as a TVFCU Fraud Agent. Report on file.
3500 Ringgold Rd / Traffic Stop:
Bridgette Lovelace was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving on suspended.
3700 Old Ringgold Rd / Traffic Stop:
Keina Carter was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving on revoked.
4214 Ringgold Rd / Supplement:
A woman came to the department to report that she had hit a black male with her vehicle last night in the 6400 block of Ringgold Rd. She stated she did not report this because the male tried to get her to go back to his room at the Budgetel after she tried to get him to go to the emergency room.
3700 Fountain Avenue / Aggravated Domestic Assault:
Police responded to the residence after Alicia Bailey asked her neighbor to call the police. Alicia Bailey advised that she had gotten into an argument with her roommate. Bailey advised that the roommate said things that made her angry, so she picked up a bat. Bailey advised that she swung the bat at the roommate. Bailey busted a light switch cover and put a hole in the wall of the living room with the bat. The roommate also had a large knot on the top of his head. Bailey was charged and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

August 24 – Day Shift
4314 Dupont Street:
Suspicious Activity/Warrant Service/Drug Arrest- Officers were anonymously advised by a citizen of a female rooting through garbage at this address. Upon arrival police encountered several people including Lakesha Crawford. One person advised they had been evicted from the property and were in the process of moving their belongings. All parties were checked for warrants and Crawford was arrested on an outstanding East Ridge warrant. While en route to the jail it was discovered Crawford was in possession of meth. She was charged accordingly.
3629 Ringgold Road (Food City):
Stolen Vehicle Recovery/Civil- The callert advised her sister’s stolen vehicle was found in the store lot. Upon arrival it was found the vehicle had never been reported stolen and was not listed in NCIC. The theft allegedly occurred in Chattanooga. Later in the shift the vehicle was returned to the rightful owner.

August 24 – Night Shift
600 Belvoir Avenue / Crash-Arrest:
Katye D. Oppizzi ran into the rear of a vehicle stopped at the light. Oppizzi was arrested for DUI, Driving While License Suspended, and Open Container.
6514 Ringgold Road (Mapco) / Theft:
Police responded to Mapco on a theft complaint. Police spoke with one of the store associates and another witness who described a white female entering the store and taking a cellphone charger, a car charger, and an auxiliary cable from the display and left the store without paying. The store associate confronted the female but she got into a 2009 Saturn 4-door, gray in color, (GA Tag BQI 6225) where a male party was waiting in the driver seat. The store associate confronted the driver, who threw the auxiliary cable to the clerk but kept the other two chargers. Another white male and female that was in the store came out got in the car and all four parties left the scene prior to police arrival. Total value of loss $24.98.
1503 McDonald Street / Theft:
Police responded to the Waverly Motel on a theft complaint. Upon arrival, police spoke to a woman who stated that her child’s father used her debit card to pay for a second room without her permission. Officers found Jereme Billups in the second room with his girlfriend. Incident to arrest police discovered Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
730 Germantown Circle / Aggravated Burlgary:
A woman called the police to report that items were missing from her apartment. The woman advised that she was recently in the hospital. She believes that Jessie C. entered the home through the bedroom window and stole the items. The woman advised that Jessie C. had been staying the night occasionally over the past few weeks. Items stolen were a Samsung tablet, costume jewelry, and food. CID was notified. There is no other information at this time.
3728 Ringgold Road / Alarm:
Officers responded for a glass break alarm. Witness stated an unknown male threw something at the front glass and walked off. Officers located the male at 3600 Ringgold Road and upon making contact he became very agitated and prepared to fight police. He was tased, arrested, and transported to jail.

August 25 – Day Shift
6650 Ringgold Road (La Quinta Inn #123):
Suspicious Person/Drug Arrest- Dispatch advised an employee with the motel called to report a white female approaching customers and offering sex for money. On arrival officers spoke with management and were advised the suspicious female was in room #123. Police relocated to room #123 and contacted the occupants, Wesley Stevens and Lauren Stevens, who at first, denied any knowledge of the possible suspect in the room. Upon verifying their information through dispatch an NCIC notification (M135255932) stating the parties were in possession of a missing child from Florida appeared. Mr. Stevens then gave officers consent to enter the room where the missing six-month-old juvenile was located. Officers also noticed several dozen syringes throughout the room in plain view, that appeared to have been used and the needles exposed, as well as, several syringes in a baby bassinet. Inside the restroom, officers also located Sarah Woody, who was found to have several warrants in both Hamilton and Rhea Counties. Woody was detained and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Mr. and Mrs. Stevens were taken into custody and charged with child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police requested dispatch to notify Child Protective Services and have them take custody of the missing juvenile to be transported back to Florida. While waiting for CPS, officers observed that there was an absence of food and baby wipes in the room, which the officers later purchased for the child.
822 Belvoir Terrace:
Vehicle Burglary- The resident stated between the late-night hours of August 24 and early morning hours of August 25 someone entered his vehicle at his residence. The victim stated the suspect took a Ruger 9mm handgun and an Oculus virtual reality headset from the vehicle. The victim advised his vehicle was locked prior to the theft. He did not have serial number information for the handgun or headset at the time of this report. He was instructed to find serial number information and call police back so it could be added to the report and the handgun could be placed into NCIC as stolen.

August 25 – Night Shift
1200 Altamaha Street / Crash-Property Damage-Hit and Run:
A driver and passenger ran away from a crash scene when the 2005 Ford Mustang ran off the road hitting a ditch. One person was spotted on Haisten Court. He ran across over to Matthews and was not seen again.
601 Walnut / Warrant Service:
Terrence Neal was served with an East Ridge warrant for Capias DOR while at the Hamilton County Jail.
5322 Clemons / Suspicious Activity:
Police were called to this location in reference to a suspicious party outside the apartments. Upon arrival police made contact with a female party who advised she was with David Evans who fled on foot when he spotted the head lights from the police unit. Police never located the suspect.
900 S Seminole / Suspicious Person (Arrest):
Police were dispatched to the area regarding a female party that appeared to be intoxicated walking in the street, and requesting ride from people passing by. Police located Alexis Jordon walking in the street in the 900 block of S Seminole Drive. Jordon advised she was at a apartment complex down the road and was trying to get home. Officers located suspected Heroin and other drug paraphernalia in her purse after a consensual search. Jordon advised that she did not feel good, so EMS arrived on scene to check on her. Jordon was then taken into custody for Possession of Schedule I, Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Intoxication.
3413 Beechwood Lane / AOA:
HCSO requested we go to this address to attempt to locate a Gold Honda Accord TN Tag#047RVG. Police were advised that the vehicle should have been driven by Tyler Moss. Officers located the vehicle, and were met by a female party exiting the house upon police arrival. The female party advised that Moss was not in the house, but consented to letting officers look for him inside the home. Police located Tyler Moss in the upstairs bedroom. Moss had an active warrant through Sessions Court. The owner of the vehicle arrived on scene to take possession of her vehicle. Moss was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
2158 Dugan Street / AOA:
CPD Homicide detectives wanted assistance in trying to locate a suspect at this address. He was not located but it is believed he had been at the residence shortly before police arrived.
