The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
Aug. 21 Day Shift
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police responded to the hospital and located a juvenile listed as missing from Walker County, Georgia. The juvenile was turned over to Georgia DFACS authorities who took her back to Georgia.
4340 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to the Food Lion in reference to an unresponsive seventy-year-old employee. Cpl. Crowe began administering CPR which was continued by EMTs during transport to Parkridge East Hospital. The patient survived.
14 Laurel Lane:
Police responded to a disorder between the complainant and a neighbor. The complainant owes the neighbor ten dollars and a pack of cigarettes, and the complainant felt the neighbor was being intimidating when he came to collect the debt. The neighbor, who is currently on parole, stated he was going to drop the matter.
3606 Weldon Drive:
The resident stated he left several items in his yard overnight in preparation for an upcoming yard sale. This morning he noticed several of the items (tent, jigsaw, electric sander, clothes steamer) had been stolen. The resident stated the items were not worth much, but he wanted police to be aware of it.
3702 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to the East Ridge Animal Hospital, because someone stole the security camera from the rear of the building. The theft occurred on 08/20 at 0422 hours. Video at that time shows a truck driving to the rear of the building followed by an animal loop pole being raised onto the camera. The recording then stopped. The footage did not capture a tag on the suspect vehicle.
6701 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to the Sunrise Market and arrested Cheyenne Mullins for public intoxication.

Night Shift
1547 Burns Ave apt B (Domestic):
Brandon Middleton was arrested for domestic assault against his girlfriend. The victim stated he grabbed her by the hair and dragged her off the bed following an argument over him cheating. She stated he also threw her against the wall and slapped her across the face. The victim had visible marks as well.
1528 Burns Ave (Suspicious person):
A reporting party called in stating someone was camping in the backyard at this address. They stated the person who lives there is incarcerated, and no one should be there. Police found no one on the property.
3756 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious vehicle):
Reporting party called in stating a dark vehicle was parked in the back-parking lot occupied by one person. She stated she was afraid to leave work not knowing who it was. Vehicle was gone upon police arrival.
104 Ridgeside Road (Abandoned Auto):
A silver Honda Accord was stickered on 8/18/2019 at this address. On 8/21/2019 the vehicle was towed by Broome’s Wrecker for being abandoned.
500 South Moore Road (DUI):
Derrick Hester was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at this location.
4222 Ringgold Road (Disorder):
Police were dispatched to the Speedway in reference to a customer being loud and yelling at the clerk. Police spoke with the customer who stated he was upset because the female clerk messed up on the lottery tickets and he wanted a refund. Police explained to the customer that the Speedway cannot refund the Tennessee State Lottery money. The customer was advised to leave the property.
1400 S Moore Road (Traffic stop):
Charles Foster Jr. was arrested for driving on revoked for DUI and simple possession of marijuana at this location following a traffic stop.
1417 Mack Smith Road (Suspicious Vehicle):
While investigating a suspicious vehicle, police found that Jeffery Wooten had an active arrest warrant through the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation. Wooten was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
