The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
Aug. 10 Day Shift
512 S. Moore Road (found property):
The resident was cleaning out her family’s burned out home and found an old .22 caliber semi-auto pistol and magazine. She turned it in to police, and it was placed into Property and Evidence.
1523 Keeble Street (burglary):
A customer discovered their storage unit lock had been removed and replaced with an unknown lock. Staff removed the lock, and the customer discovered three horse saddles had been stolen.

Night Shift
3449 Bennett Rd- Disorder- 20-010438:
Police were called to this location for Heather Smith and her husband Philp Smith having a verbal disorder. Ms. Smith was throwing items around their home with their three-week year-old child in her arms.
3616 Land Street- Theft from a vehicle- 20-010439:
Reporting party stated her ex-boyfriend stole her rental vehicle from this location and when he returned it, she noticed several items missing from the vehicle. The RP was given an email address to send a list of items missing.
4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service- 20-010444-
Officers served a warrant on James Harbison and he was transported to 601.
1417 St. Thomas Street- Warrant Service/Suspicious Person-
Officers served a warrant on Marty Manus and he was transported to 601.
1410 Mack Smith Road/ Budgetel Inn- Medical Call-
EMS requested PD to this located due to a 38-year-old male suffering from medical issues. The male was also seeing and hearing voices. The victim also answered yes to COVID-19 questions. He was waiting out front upon arrival and EMS took over the scene.
825 Poindexter Ave. Theft from a vehicle- 20-010449-
The resident advised sometime between 8/3/20 and 8/7/20, someone stole her backpack containing documents and she wished to report in case her identity becomes compromised. She does not know where or when the items were taken and admitted to leaving her vehicle unlocked all the time.
3700 Fountain Ave / Agg. domestic assault (20-010448):
Police arrested Sammie Christian for domestic assault after police received reports of an active domestic coming from the apartment. When police arrived on scene police made forced entry to the home due to hearing a female screaming for help inside the apartment. Once inside the home police discovered Mr. Christian to be the primary aggressor.
