The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
July 29 – Day Shift
22-010666 – 3208 Ringgold Road – Found Property –
The East Ridge Fast Lube service manager called police to retrieve a firearm that was left in a vehicle. He stated it was a rental from enterprise, and they called to ask if the firearm was left in the vehicle. Upon my arrival, the owner showed up and advised they left the firearm in the vehicle when he turned it in. The firearm was returned to the owner.
22-010657 – 6408 Ringgold Road-Warrant Service-
Joseph Curry was arrested on multiple warrants out of multiple jurisdictions.
1510 Maxwell Rd (disorder):
Caller was upset with the postal staff because they would not tell her the location of her package after the package was re-routed due to an address change. Police arrived and advised the caller to go to the updated address and wait for the package before complaining about its failure to arrive. (22-010670).
4012 Wiley Ave (suspicious vehicle):
The caller and owner of the property advised that a neighbor notified them about a strange Jeep in the driveway at this residence for the last twenty-four hours. Police arrived and spoke with the adjacent neighbors, who advised that the vehicle belonged to their visiting grandson. (22-010665)

July 29 – Night Shift
631 Camp Jordan Parkway (Arrest 22-010698):
Robert Williams was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct following an encounter with police outside of Jonathan’s Grille.
400 Camp Jordan Parkway (Sexual Offense 22-010681):
Police were dispatched to ballfield number one regarding an alleged sexual offense that had taken place the day prior. There was no evidence a crime had taken place. A report is on file.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (animal 22-010692):
Police worked a dog bite at this location. A nine-year-old boy was bitten by an American Bully near room 4310. Animal control (Officer Smith) was notified of this incident.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Overdose 22-010690):
A male subject reportedly overdosed at this location. Family members transported him to Park Ridge East Hospital by personal vehicle. Report on file.
3452 Ringgold Rd (Theft 22-010687):
Police responded to a theft at this address and determined two unidentified male parties stole two e-cigarettes. The store clerk provided vehicle description and police will attempt to follow up.

22-010713 DUI Arrest:
3900 Ringgold Rd. Vehicle crash investigation led to DUI Arrest of John Doe
22-010717 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service –
Frederick Walker Jr. was served with an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
4145 Ringgold Rd 22-010707 theft from vehicle:
The owner stated that she left the vehicle unlocked and found several items taken when she returned this morning. No suspect information at this time.

July 30 – Night Shift
627 Camp Jordan Pkwy Unit 115 (Verbal Disorder 22-010736):
Police were called to the Pizza Bro’s in regard to people arguing in the parking lot. Upon arrival police discovered a family gathering. Party goers stated two family members had a verbal argument, however both were sent home prior to police arrival.
6700 Ringgold Rd (Fight 22-010749):
Police responded to reports of a large fight at the Quality Inn. Once on scene an intoxicated male fled from police on foot. Officers captured him after a brief foot pursuit. Police located a large crowd at the Quality Inn; however, the crowd claimed all the troublemakers had left prior to police arrival.
5308 Ringgold Road (Theft 22-010751):
Police observed a suspicious box truck traveling behind several restaurants in the area. Due to the number of cooking oil thefts, police made contact with the occupants of the vehicle. The pair stated they were going behind the restaurants to collect trash. These two males are believed to be a part of a ring of thieves targeting restaurant cooling oil.
