April 4- Day Shift
23-004005 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Arrest – A woman was arrested on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.
23-003996 – 4900 BLK Court Dr – Burglary/Auto Theft – Police responded to a burglary after church staff located an open window in one of the offices. While investigating the scene, it was found that several checks and the church van were stolen from the property. CID responded and processed the scene and the van was entered into NCIC as stolen. The van was a white Ford E350 van (bearing TN tag# BFN 5919) with the church’s name on it. The vehicle’s information was BOLO’d to surrounding agencies.
23-004002 – 100 BLK Ridgeside Dr – Suspicious Vehicle – Caller reported a blue Chevy Equinox occupied by an unknown party was parked in front of their residence for an extended period of time. On arrival, it was found to be an insurance adjuster, who was there early for a meeting with the homeowner.
23-004008 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Found Property – A party brought a wallet to the police department after finding it somewhere on Ringgold Road. The item was collected and placed into property and evidence for safekeeping.
23-003990-6300 BLK Ringgold Road-Arrest- During a consensual encounter at this location a party was found to have warrants out of Rhea County. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-003995-1400 BLK Mack Smith Road- Burglary/ Arrest- Officers responded to this location for a suspicious person. Officers located the subject walking east on Ringgold Road. A contractor of the building stated he caught the man staying in one of the rooms and, when confronted, fled. The contractor also stated the party had been defecating in the hotel toilets that have no water. The suspect was taken into custody for burglary and vandalism.
23-004000-3900 BLK Ringgold Road- Arrest- Officers were called to this location to check on a female who exited a vehicle and then laid on the ground. Officers made contact with the female laying on the ground. She stated she was just tired but had pinpoint pupils, slurred speech, and was unsteady on her feet. She was taken into custody for public intoxication.
April 4- Night Shift
23-004009 – 1000 Bass Pro Drive – Assault – Police responded to this location regarding an assault in progress called in by a bystander in the area. Upon arrival police were unable to locate the vehicle or parties involved that were described in the original 911 call. Police report on file.
23-004015 – 3700 BLK Mary Anna Drive – Disorder- Police responded back out to this location regarding a verbal disagreement between two parties. They were advised to separate for the evening and wait for the completion of their eviction request.
23-004020 – I 75 N / I- 24 – Traffic stop – Police attempted to stop a white HHR for misdemeanor traffic charges. Police observed a male driver as they approached the vehicle. The car then immediately sped off in the direction of I-24 toward Chattanooga. The vehicle was later located at the registered address by CPD but only had two juvenile females sitting inside.
23-004022 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse St – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Police observed a 2007 Black Mercury Marnier sitting in a church parking lot in an unusual manner. Upon running the vehicle, it was confirmed stolen out of Chattanooga. It was towed to Brooms for the owner to recover. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
23-004025 – 6514 Ringgold Rd – Drug Possession – While at the Mapco police noticed an individual passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. The driver had a container with 15 Fentanyl pills in plain view. He was charged accordingly.
