Day Shift April 3
24-004159- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Road- Deceptive Practice/Civil- Police met with the property maintenance manager. While checking the property he located a couple living in the duplex. They presented a lease agreement that turned out to not be legal due to it being fake. The female that leased the duplex had no property rights. She received $950 from the couple. The couple located her through Facebook, but the page had since been taken down.
24-004150- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder- The caller advised a mental patient was causing a disorder in the ER. Officers stood by while hospital staff took care of the issue.
24-004153- 4000 BLK Patton Edwards Drive- Miscellaneous Complaint- Police spoke to the complainant about possible fraudulent activity using his personal information. He got to work and began checking his email. He found numerous emails that appeared to be fraudulent and began calling the financial institutions. The companies advised they needed a police report to begin an investigation.
24-004171- 400 BLK Scruggs Road- Vehicle Burglary- The caller advised her vehicle was entered by an unknown person. She was able to observe the incident through video. This is still under investigation.
Night Shift April 3
24-004179 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police were stopped by a citizen regarding possible gunfire happening at the Pioneer Frontier Park by a group of teenagers. After speaking with a group of teenagers that went inside the gas station no firearm was recovered, and dispatch informed that Day Shift had received similar complaints earlier. The previous incident involved juveniles throwing firecrackers. Parents of the juveniles came and picked up their respective kids.
24-004181 – 1500 BLK Keeble Street – Assault – The victim called and stated a man assaulted him while at the storage facility. He also stated that another man was on scene and was wanted for aggravated robbery and assault warrants. He gave a description of a black Chevy SUV with a trailer attached to it that was still in the business parking lot. Police attempted to contact the vehicle, but the wanted subject was not located. However, another man was found outside the vehicle in question. He was taken into custody for verified warrants out of Hamilton County.
24-004187 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – AOA – A man was taken into custody for an Aggravated Assault warrant out of Sessions. The registration on his vehicle was found to be stolen out of Chattanooga and was recovered.
24-004191 – 700 BLK S. Germantown Road – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Police located a silver Honda Accord parked at this location. After a records check was conducted on the displayed license plate, officers were advised the vehicle and tag were both stolen out of McMinn County. The vehicle was towed from the scene and McMinn County was notified.
24-004194 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Domestic Assault – A woman was taken into custody for Domestic Assault following a disorder at this location.
24-004196 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Disorder – A caller stated that they heard yelling and screaming from a neighboring apartment but wanted to remain anonymous. Upon arrival police contacted a female and observed blood coming from her mouth. She told the police her boyfriend had beaten her. EMS was called but she denied EMS transport. Police located the boyfriend who told police she was involved in a physical altercation with another female earlier in the day. He provided police with video evidence of the altercation which was contrary to the reporting party’s explanation of her injury. After records were checked it was confirmed one party had active warrants out of sessions court.
24-004197 – 6800 BLK Village Lake Circle – Aggravate Domestic Assault – Police responded to a domestic assault reportedly involving a knife. The victim sustained a very minor scratch on the cheek. Police could not determine a primary aggressor from the incident. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.
24-004198– 3700 BLK Fountain Road – Disorder – Following a call for a disorder a woman was taken into custody for simple assault and resisting arrest.
