Day Shift April 26
24-005249- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder/AOA Warrant Service- A woman was detained and transported to jail on warrants following a disorder call at the motel. She was also issued a criminal trespass warning.
24-005252- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male was in the lot begging for money. He was checked for warrants and advised to leave the area.
Night Shift April 26
24-005273 – Ringgold Road @ Mack Smith Road – Arrest-Traffic – Following a traffic stop a woman was taken into custody on warrants out of General Session court. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-005274 – 4200 BLK Ealy Road – Disorder W/ Weapon – A caller advised police two male subjects were walking down the road and one of them had what appeared to be a gun. The caller later stated a white Honda drove by and the parties began yelling at each other. Police searched the surrounding area, but nothing was located.
24-005279 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Found Property – A laptop belonging to a student at East Ridge Middle School was located at a nearby park. The laptop was dropped off at East Ridge Police Department and placed into Property for safe keeping until the responsible party can be reached.
24-005289 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Unconscious Person – While visiting with a patient on the second floor, a party used narcotics and was found unconscious in a restroom. The subject was criminally trespassed by hospital staff.
24-005291 – Camp Jordan Parkway @ Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Evading – Officers attempted to stop a black dodge charger for tint violations. As officers turned around the vehicle and before activating the emergency equipment the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed on I-75 North. The attempted traffic stop terminated as the vehicle traveled north bound on South Moore into Chattanooga. The vehicle was last seen turning westbound in Montview Drive. A BOLO was sent out to Chattanooga and Hamilton County regarding the vehicle.
Day Shift April 27
24-005295- 3500 BLK Claremont Avenue- Disorder- The caller advised two females were arguing in the roadway. Officers spoke to the females and advised them to quit arguing in the street.
24-005313- 1400 BLK Dover Lane- Suspicious Person- The caller advised he saw a male around 5”11 in height drop off a bike in the woods behind the residence. Police located the bike but did not locate the man. The red, black, and white bike was placed into property.
Night Shift April 27
24-005332 – 800 BLK S Germantown Road – Traffic Stop/Felony Evading – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle failing to maintain lane. The vehicle fled from police and pulled into the backyard of a residence on Gleason Dr. A male (later identified) fled from the vehicle at which time a foot pursuit ensued. ERPD Officers along with Crime Suppression investigators searched the area with the assistance of K9. However, officers were unable to locate the suspect. Warrants are currently pending for felony evading, driving on suspended, violation of Order of Protection, and x4 reckless endangerment.
24-005318 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Disorder W/Weapon – After experiencing a mental health incident and smashing property, a man was taken into protective custody and transported to the Emergency Department. A Crisis Intervention Clinician responded to the hospital for a Psychological Evaluation.
24-005319 – 1300 BLK Spring Creek Road – Fight – The caller advised that there were people fighting after a basketball game. Witnesses stated that it was verbal in nature and all parties had left the scene.
24-005322 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody on multiple warrants out of Hamilton County and East Ridge.
24-005328 – S Germantown & Fountain Ave – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a light law infraction. Following the encounter, two women were issued citations in lieu of arrests for possession of drug paraphernalia. One was further placed into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Hamilton County.
24-005337 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Person – The caller advised police that a suspicious person was walking around the apartment complex. Police checked the area, and no one was located.
24-005340 – S Terrace @ Bacon Trail – DUI – Police performed a traffic stop on a green Nissan Titan after observing it swerve out of its lane multiple times. The driver was determined to be intoxicated and arrested for DUI. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-005344 – 3600 BLK Weldon Drive – Shots Fired – A caller stated he heard multiple shots in the area. Police searched the area but did not locate anything.
24-005345– 6300 BLK Ringgold Road – Property-Found – A bank card was found on Ringgold Road and turned over to police. The card will be placed into property for safekeeping.
Day Shift April 28
24-005360- 100 I-75 North- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a suspicious female on the lot. She was checked for warrants and given a courtesy ride to the community kitchen per her request.
Night Shift April 28
24-005366 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Well Being Check – A passerby notified police about a woman lying on the sidewalk in the fetal position with a male sitting next to her. Police approached the parties. The man stated she was having a bad day, and he was trying to calm her down. Police did not observe anything out of the ordinary with the couple.
24-005375 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to suspicious parties behind the restaurant. A man and woman were trespassed from the premises at the owner’s request. Police advised both parties they were in violation of urban camping according to TCA 39-14-414.
24-005377 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Narcotics Violation – Police responded to reports of a drug deal happening in the parking lot of an apartment complex. A woman was arrested for possession of Schedule II Narcotics violations.
24-005388 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Hotel management called and wanted a homeless person trespassed and removed from the property. It was reported the party had been underneath the stairs for hours. Police advised the party of her trespass warning and gave her a curtesy ride.
24-005391 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police observed a vehicle going west on Ringgold Rd. Police noticed the driver’s side brake light was not operating and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was found to have a revoked driver’s license for DUI. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Day Shift April 29
24-005409 – 2400 BLK 15th Avenue – Warrant – A warrant was served at this location for theft under $1,000.
24-005403 – 6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Overdose – A subject took 7-8 Xanax pills and was having a seizure. The party was transported by EMS for treatment. Warrants were sought.
24-005414 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Suspicious Activity – A concerned citizen reported several children were chasing each other around the playground with airsoft guns and hitting cars with the pellets. Officers spoke with the juveniles and advised them of the dangers of using the toys without proper safety equipment and to relocate to an unoccupied area.
Night Shift April 29
24-005430- John Ross Road / S. Crest Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD assisted Walker County and Fort Oglethorpe units canvas the area for two individuals that fled from a Fort Oglethorpe traffic stop. Collegedale K9 also assisted during the search. The parties were unable to be located.
24-005435 – I-24 Eastbound – Assist Other Agency – ERPD assisted with traffic control due to a crash in CPD’s jurisdiction.
24-005433 – Ringgold Road @ Belvoir Avenue – DUI – A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop.
