April 22 Day Shift
822 Belvoir Terrace-
The complainant advised an unknown suspect is taking out loans and has obtained his credit card info. Report on file.
3400 Beechwood Ln-
Car Mart notified police they located one of their vehicles via GPS that had been reported stolen out of HCSO jurisdiction at this location. Police did locate the vehicle (2009 Buick Lacerne) in the driveway at this location. Police also spoke with the owner of the vehicle who advised Tyler Moss did not have permission to have the vehicle and wanted to prosecute on the matter. Moss stated to police he was the owner of the vehicle and was taken into custody for possession of stolen property. Yates came and picked up the stolen vehicle at Car Mart’s request.
3715 Ringgold Rd Food City-
Amanda Mcconathy was observed shoplifting by Food City loss prevention. Food City declined to prosecute and just wanted the party trespassed.
5902 Ringgold Rd Burglary-
Victim stated that someone picked the lock on her storage unit. A gun, and other misc. items were taken. No suspect info.
3715 Ringgold Rd-
Reporting party advised several homeless parties came in and stole food from Food City. Report on file.

Food City loss prevention observed Shawanna Shaw shoplifting. She was trespassed from the store and issued a misdemeanor citation.
3245 Castle Ave-
The complainant advised an unknown suspect was able to obtain her personal info and added her on their tax return. No suspect at this time.

5917 Wentworth Ave / Theft:
Police contacted the complainant by phone who advised while attempting to purchase a vehicle off Facebook Marketplace she was scammed out of $2,000 worth of eBay gift cards. Report on file.
601 Walnut St/ Warrant Service:
Police served an active domestic assault warrant to Curtis Jeffries while he was already incarcerated at the Hamilton County Jail.
607 Shady Dr/ Disorder:
Police were called to this location due to a verbal disorder between a woman and her nephew. The resident requested officers do extra patrols of her neighborhood.
3920 Ringgold Rd (shoplifting):
The complainant reported shoplifting at the Dollar General. A black female left in a purple Challenger with big wheels after taking a package of shirts and some aluminum cookware.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel Inn) / Shots Fired:
Anonymous reporting party called to report that a couple in a room were arguing and shots were fired. Upon arrival, police did not locate a firearm or any evidence that shots were fired in or around the apartment. The couple’s identity was checked through dispatch, neither party came back with warrants.
