The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the East Ridge Police Department.
April 14 – Day Shift
6515 Ringgold Road (theft from a vehicle):
A patron of Champy’s had tools stolen from his truck. Security footage shows the suspect to be a male driving a white four-door sedan. Police were going to complete a report, but the complainant declined one at the time of the call. (22-005191)
5332 Clemons Road (vandalism):
Warrants are being sought for Keandre Jones for vandalizing a vehicle. (22-005197)
6408 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Police responded to an individual approaching cars in the drive thru lane asking for a ride to Georgia. Police made contact with Kevin O’Connell and discovered he had an extraditable warrant out of Ft. Oglethorpe. O’Connell was transported to Silverdale where he will eventually get his ride to Georgia. April 14 – Night Shift
3449 Bennett Rd (Aggravated Domestic Assault 22-005233):
Police responded to a report of a male beating a female and dragging her with his vehicle. Police located the female who was observed with serious injuries. The female victim was transported to Erlanger Hospital. While investigating the incident, police received another call of a female in the area asking for help. Police made contact with this second female who was a witness to the assault and also sustained injuries and was transported to Park Ridge East. After speaking with all available witnesses, police developed probable cause that the suspect was identified as Josue Tomas. Police located Tomas at his residence, and he was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault and driving on suspended
730 Germantown Cir (Burglary Attempt 22-005229):
Police responded to a call of two males attempting to break into an apartment at this location. The complainant stated that two males were tampering with her deadbolt lock in an apparent attempt to enter the apartment. The complainant stated she banged on the door and scared the males away. Police could not locate the males after checking the area.
1410 Mack Smith Rd room 1205 (domestic assault 22-005217):
Police arrested Karla Brantley after she became intoxicated and assaulted her boyfriend.
1417 St. Thomas Street (arrest 22-005224):
Police encounter three males sitting in a white vehicle in the parking lot of the Motel 6. Following an investigation, Diego Chinchilla (John Doe), was taken into custody for public intoxication, criminal impersonation, and simple possession. Uriel Lara was taken into custody for public intoxication and criminal impersonation. Jose Herrera was taken into custody for underage consumption and open container.
6200 Ringgold Rd (DUI 22-005222):
Jayson Shaw was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
6200 Block of Ringgold Rd (DUI 22-005232):
Eduarlin Garcia was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.

April 15 – Day Shift
22-005234- I-75 South @ Exit One- MVC with Entrapment-
Police were dispatched to a crash with injuries. On scene officers located an SUV vs a tractor trailer with a severe underride. ERFD and EMS also responded. The driver was found to be alive and after being extricated she was transported to Erlanger Hospital.
22-005236- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-
Jennifer Jackson was served with an outstanding East Ridge Alias Capias for driving on revoked while she was at Hamilton County Jail. Police faxed the respective paperwork to the Jail.
22-005237- 182.8 I-24 East- MVC/Arrest-
Police were dispatched to a multi vehicle crash. On scene Alfredo Barrios was arrested and charged with aggravated child endangerment following a traffic crash at this location.
22-005243- 4104 Ealy Road- Vehicle Burglary-
The complainant called to report sometime between 2030 hours 4-13-22 and 1100 hours 4-15-22 an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and took tools. He advised an unknown black sedan occupied by two males drove down the hill west of his residence and stopped in front of his house. Two unknown males exited the sedan and walked over to his truck. They entered the front passenger side door that was left unlocked. One male grabbed a tool bag and ran back to the unknown sedan. They left east on Ealy Road until out of sight from the residence.
22-005252- 1410 Mack Smith Road- Disorder-
Police were dispatched on a disorder between a male and female in an unknown room at the motel. On scene police located the room and upon approach a male fled from the room with a small child. Police gave chase until the child fell and the adult male stopped. He was detained and identified as Rodney Paris. On investigation it was found he and a woman had been arguing when Paris damaged the television inside the room. He was attempting to leave when he encountered police. Paris was arrested and charged with evading, drug possession, criminal impersonation, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was also found to have multiple warrants through Hamilton County.
22-005254- 1410 Mack Smith Road- Theft-
Police arrived on scene and contacted the reporting party. The woman told police that she parked her Toyota Prius at this location the previous evening (4-14-22) and when she returned to the vehicle it was making a loud noise. Police confirmed the catalytic converter to be missing.
22-005255- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-
Michael Hullander was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
22-005260- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service-
Jamie Anderson turned herself in on an East Ridge warrant. She was transported to Silverdale.
22-005261- 7906 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service-
William Gray was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
22-005263- 105 Dorroh Lane- Theft-
The caller advised sometime between 1930 4-14 and 1700 4-15 an unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from her vehicle.

1410 Mack Smith/Theft from vehicle(22-005262)
Peggy Boyd called in to report that her catalytic converter was stolen off her Mitsubishi Outlander last night between the hours of 2200-0800.
100 I-75 NB/Warrant Service(22-005283)
Jermaine Brister was arrested on five Hamilton County warrants during a traffic stop at this location.
1417 St. Thomas St. (Burglary of Auto 22-005284):
Police responded to the Motel 6 after Medic 16 observed someone attempting to break into another vehicle with a crowbar. The suspect vehicle in the incident is a white Ford Escape or Explorer occupied by three or four males as observed by Medic 16. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. The victim’s vehicle, a white Dodge Ram 1500, was found to be a rental and had the back driver’s side window busted out. Police spoke with the rental owner. Nothing of value was found to be missing from the vehicle. Report is on file for the incident

April 16 – Day Shift
22-005286- State Line Road @ Keeble Street- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a male with a flashlight was looking into a silver vehicle across from Sunny’s Market. On scene the male was not located, and the vehicle was found to be in Georgia. Catoosa County was notified.
22-005294- 3900 blk of Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Arrest-
Nicole Batts was arrested on several drug charges following a traffic stop. Batts was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver was issued several citations.
22-005295- 3814 Kingwood Circle- Burglary-
The complainant called back in upon his return to the residence advising the house had been entered and items were missing. He suspects his ex-girlfriend and her parents are responsible. Report on file.
22-005299- 6513 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a male subject was observed putting lumber in a tan pickup truck at the construction site next door. On scene the male was already gone. Police spoke with the witness and obtained her information. The male is currently unknown.

April 16 – Night Shift
3216 Gleason Dr/ Fugitive arrest:
During a call for service Donna Peirce was arrested after it was discovered she had an active warrant through Catoosa County.
3500 Ringgold Road/ Simple Poss. / DWR (DUI) (22-005314):
During a traffic stop, Joseph Ferrell was found to have a revoked license for DUI. He was also in possession of cocaine. He was placed under arrest for DWR (DUI) and simple possession.
5300 Ringgold Road / Warrant service:
Destiny Phinazee was taken into custody on an East Ridge alias/capias warrant for driving on revoked during a traffic stop. (22-005308)
100 I-75 NB/DUI (22-005315)
Perla Flores Hernandez was arrested for DUI after a bolo from GA. The passenger Markita Parrish was arrested for public intoxication and criminal impersonation.
22-005316 / 6300 Ringgold Road-
Nicholas Ross was taken into custody on active Catoosa County warrants following a disorder at this location.
