April 14 – Day Shift
23-004459- 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- AOA- Police were dispatched with EMS on a medical call. On scene police stood by while EMS handled the call.
23-004462- 5300 BLK Anderson Avenue- Burglary- The caller advised his residence was entered sometime last night. There are currently no suspects.
23-004463- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting- The caller advised an elderly male took items from the store without paying. The male left the area before police arrival.
23-004481- 700 BLK Belvoir Avenue- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised she observed an unknown male turning the doorknob on her front door. On scene the unknown suspect had already left the area.
April 14 – Night Shift
23-000498 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on East Ridge warrants for Aggravated Assault, Evading Arrest, Reckless Driving and Window Tint.
23-000163 – 7017 Shallowford Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man. was arrested on East Ridge warrant for Theft of Property-Conduct Involving Merchandise. He was transported by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
23-004490 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Assault – Officers were dispatched to an assault at this location after the reporting party stated a male was making aggressive threats towards the complainant. Police spoke with the complaint via phone at which time he advised he did not want a report and was currently headed to his residence in Georgia.
23-004496- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police got out with a male at this location. He was found to have a valid warrant from general session court and was taken into custody. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.
23-004498 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity – Police were dispatched to Krystal due to an individual attempting to enter the restaurant while wearing a ski mask. Entry was denied but the individual was again recognized.
23-004502- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Crash-Pedestrian Struck – Police responded to this location regarding a female being struck by a vehicle. Police spoke to the driver of the vehicle. He advised that he didn’t see the female walking. ERFD and Hamilton County EMS arrived and transported.
23-004504 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Disorder – Police were called about an intoxicated individual causing a disorder in the restaurant. One party was criminally trespassed from the restaurant.
23-004508 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Lane – Noise Complaint – Police checked the area regarding a group of juveniles throwing fireworks towards houses in the area. No juveniles were located at this time however extra patrols are being conducted through the area.
23-004509 – 4000 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Toyota Rav4. The driver was taken into custody for DUI, Felon in possession of a firearm, and simple possession of marijuana. He also received traffic citations.
April 15 – Day Shift
23-004531- 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Dr (burglary)- Home was entered by breaking the back door sometime in the last two weeks. The homeowner is away in rehab and the uncle of the homeowner wished to report the burglary. Firearms with unknown serial numbers were taken to include two .22 target rifles, a Winchester 1100 12 gauge, and a 9mm handgun, along with some lawn chairs and the washer and dryer. No suspect information is available.
April 15 – Night Shift
23-004540 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Person – Police were called to this location after a citizen reported a male acting erratically in his backyard. Upon arrival the male was observed to be attempting to fight a tree. The man was taken into custody for public intoxication following his interaction with officers.
23-004549 – 201 Eads St – Harassment – Police were called regarding Juveniles making threats of violence against other juveniles. Report has been completed.
23-004562 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Toyota Tundra. The driver was taken into custody for DUI and received traffic citations.
23-004564 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – DUI – Police arrested a man for DUI after he drove his motorcycle into a ditch. In addition to being charged with DUI he was also charged with assault on police and retaliation for past actions.
23-004565 – 43 Station Street – Backup Police – ERPD responded to the Blue Light Nightclub after Chattanooga Police requested county wide assistance regarding a large group of people outside the business which resulted in an officer involved fight. ERPD units along with multiple other agencies responded for crowd control.
23-004567- 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a Silver Toyota Tundra. Police ran all three subjects in the vehicle. The juvenile passenger was taken into custody for a JDU attachment. Juvenile was transported to JDU.
April 16 – Day Shift
23-004571- 3400 BLK Ringgold Road- Alarm/Burglary- Police responded to check the business. On scene officers located a busted window. The property owner responded and video was reviewed. A male was observed entering the business and stealing items. CID was contacted and responded.
23-004574- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a homeless person was sleeping under the church awning. She was checked for warrants and sent on her way.
April 16 – Night Shift
23-004593 – 3725 Fountain Ave – Theft – Police were dispatched to this location regarding theft. Police made contact with the resident who advised police that he let two homeless people stay for a couple of days. They then made a key without his permission and entered his apartment and took property valued at $500. Police will be seeking warrants for both subjects.
23-004607 – 1300 BLK San Hsi – Domestic Disorder – Officers responded to this address after the reporting party stated his ex-wife came to the residence and began causing a disorder. On scene police spoke with both parties and it was discovered the female party had not lived at the residence for approximately 6 months. The male party requested the female party to be trespassed from the residence by police.
23-004612 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Public Intoxication – A man was arrested for PI after he was found unconscious in the parking lot.
23-004614 – 400 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle failing to maintain lane in the 900 block of Spring Creek. A man was taken into custody after being found to have active warrants out of Hamilton County. Upon arrival back from the jail, officers searched the rear passenger compartment of the patrol vehicle and located a resale amount of methamphetamine below the seat. Warrants are currently being sought.
23-004615 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was arrested on East Ridge Forfeiture Capias warrants for Simple Possession of Fentanyl and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail by another agency.
April 17, 2023- Day Shift
23-004634 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Warrant Arrest – A man was detained on Hamilton County warrants and transported to Silverdale following a traffic stop.
23-004640 – 6800 BLK Martha Ave – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Officers recovered a Hyundai stolen out of Chattanooga.
23-003919 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – Police received information that a party with East Ridge warrants was at a local business in a maroon Hyundai sedan. A traffic stop was conducted at this location and the man was taken into custody for the warrant. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-004636 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Arrest – Police responded to the area of Camp Jordan Park after a license plate reader alerted to a possible stolen vehicle in the area. On arrival, officers located the vehicle, a 2001 silver Mitsubishi Montero parked in the parking lot of the Camp Jordan Arena. Police contacted the occupants. It was found that one occupant was the owner of the vehicle, however, failed to have it removed from NCIC when he recovered it a day after reporting it stolen. The female was detained on a county warrant and transported to jail. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
23-004647 – 1300 BLK San Hsi Dr – Disorder – The caller reported his 18-year-old son was at his residence to pick up belongings, however, he advised the property was already picked up by his mother. On arrival, the son agreed to leave without incident.
April 17, 2023-Night Shift
No Case Number – 1400 Mack Smith Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police noticed an occupied vehicle with the driver door open at 0023 hours. Upon stopping to check on the vehicle I noticed there to be bullet holes in the vehicle exterior and window. I could also see blood inside the car. The driver stated he was involved in a shooting the previous night which resulted in a fatality inside the car. Police checked with CPD and they confirmed the incident.
