Day Shift April 12
24-004609- 3600 BLK Ida Belle Lane- AOA/Medical Call- The caller advised an elderly male at this address was bleeding from his eyes and nose. Officers stood by while EMS handled the call.
Night Shift April 12
23-005042 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was arrested on three warrants which originated from an incident in the 3600 BLK Ringgold Road on April 16, 2023.
24-004630 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Police responded to reports of a delivery truck driving recklessly, almost causing the complainant to crash her car. The truck was gone when the police arrived. No incident to report.
24-004638 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Shots Fired – The reporting party stated that they heard one gunshot outside of building B. Police checked the area, but nothing was located.
24-004643 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Fight – Police were dispatched for an active fight. Upon arrival police did not locate a fight but witnessed a man walking through the parking lot bleeding from the face. He told police he had fallen and was not involved in any altercation; the man was checked by EMS but denied treatment. Due to the nature of his injuries police transported him for evaluation. He was cleared and transported to the Hamilton County Jail For public Intoxication.
24-004646 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Vandalism – Police responded to a vandalism in progress. The suspect was apprehended at a traffic stop leaving the scene after crashing her car into the victim’s parked car and vandalizing it with deodorant. She was arrested for Vandalism, Assault by Intimidation, Leaving the Scene, and Driving on Suspended. She was also charged by CPD at the jail for charges stemming from an earlier incident in Chattanooga.
Day Shift April 13
24-004657- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder/Arrest- A man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after assaulting a nurse in the ER. The nurse declined to prosecute. He was transported to jail without incident.
24-004660- 941 Spring Creek Road- Disorder/Arrest- A female suspect was being seen by medical staff due to heavy intoxication. The female exited the room, yelling and cursing at staff about what she expected them to give her for treatment. The female was not responding to the staff and was disrupting the staff and patients. She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. She was transported to jail without incident.
24-004674- 500 BLK Wando Drive- Disorder/Arrest- A man was arrested and charged with domestic assault following and altercation with his juvenile daughter. He was transported to jail. The juvenile daughter, who was previously reported as a runaway, was taken back to her guardian and removed from NCIC.
Night Shift April 13
24-004681 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Backup Other – Police provided backup for GSP at a traffic stop in Tennessee for a Hands-Free Violation that occurred across the state line in Georgia. The driver had two active warrants through Hamilton County Sessions Court. East Ridge Police transported the man to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-004690 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Domestic Assault – A caller reported hearing a woman screaming “help me” from a neighboring apartment. Upon arrival police found the female resident was late into her pregnancy and was having painful contractions. No signs of domestic assault were found.
24-004697 – 3800 BLK Fountain Avenue – Traffic Stop/Evading – Officers attempted to stop a white Audi sedan for window tint and display of plates violations. The vehicle fled westbound in the 3800 block of Fountain Ave at a high rate of speed. Officers were able to obtain a possible partial tag. The vehicle was BOLO’d to CPD and Hamilton County.
24-004702 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – While patrolling, police observed two parties parked behind the hotel actively using narcotics. A man and woman were arrested for Possession of Schedule II Narcotics and Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. The vehicle was towed.
Day Shift April 14
24-004705- 1200 BLK Reeves Avenue- Civil Matter- The caller advised her residence had been burglarized. Police spoke with the reporting party who advised her brother kicked in the side door to the home. Police asked if he lived at the residence, and she stated he did. No further police action was taken.
24-004707- 100 BLK John Arnold Avenue- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised of an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. The owner was located, and the vehicle was moved.
Night Shift April 14
24-004716 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to this address after receiving a call regarding two parties arguing. Police provided the victim with resources for victims of domestic violence. The male party agreed to leave the area.
24-004719 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a male party briefly fled from police on foot but was quickly taken into custody. He was charged with Display of Plates Violations, Driving on Revoked, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Evading Arrest. The man was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-004715 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a report of kidnapping after a witness observed a man placing a 4-year-old into his red Dodge truck at the Pioneer Frontier Park playground. Police identified the suspect by the registration on his vehicle and determined the child was his granddaughter who didn’t want to leave the playground. No incident.
24-004722 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police observed a vehicle parked in the parking lot. Upon further investigation of the vehicle, it was found the passenger had active warrants from Sessions Court for Felony Theft. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-004723 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A subject was taken into custody for three Forfeiture Capias warrants: Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Schedule II, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
24-004724 – I-75 North MM 1 – AOA – Following a traffic stop a man was taken into custody on warrants out of Catoosa County, GA. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-004720 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with a warrant for Petition to Revoke – Domestic Assault while in custody at the Hamilton County Detention Center.
Day Shift April 15
24-004731 – 3300 BLK Shadowlawn Drive – Theft – The resident had video surveillance cameras on her walkup apartment. She stated on 04/12/2024 at1202 hours, a package of cat food was delivered by a USPS Postal Carrier. At 1209 hours, her neighbor stole the package. The victim stated she will participate in prosecution. Warrants were sought for theft.
24-004751 24-004755 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting / Warrant Service – A man was issued a Misdemeanor Citation for Shoplifting and a Criminal Trespass Warning for all locations of the business. He was also arrested on Hamilton County Warrants.
24-004734 – 500 BLK Wando Drive – Harassment – Police responded to this location after the juvenile resident reported a male in a black Lincoln Navigator was observed circling the block and stopping in front of their home. Police later determined the subject was a party who was attempting to obtain the numerical address for a protection order. He was informed not to return to the address and was issued a criminal trespass.
24-004748 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder/Resisting Arrest – Police responded after employees called to report two juveniles were on scene making threats. Officers located the parties who refused to cooperate or obey the officers’ commands. They were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting.
24-004741 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Found Property – An anonymous complainant turned over a Motorola phone and a Benefit Security Card that was found in the 6500 BLK of Ringgold Road. The items will be placed into property and evidence at East Ridge Police Department.
Night Shift April 15
24-004779 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – A local homeless man was causing a disorder at a business. The argument centered around money for food, and the business staff refused to give him support. The man was asked to leave, and he complied with the request. Staff did not wish to trespass him from the premises.
24-004776 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Extra Patrol – Police patrolled the Pioneer Frontier Park after several complaints of nefarious activity. The park appeared in good order.
24-004775 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Criminal Trespass- A man was observed digging through a dumpster. He was arrested for Criminal Trespass, possession of drug paraphernal, and possession of a legend drug without prescription.
