April 11, 2023 Day Shift
23-004310- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised he found a homeless male sleeping in the business. He was advised to move along.
23-004311- 400 BLK South Moore Road- Abandoned Auto- The caller requested police check on a wrecked cab abandoned in the lot. On scene police determined the van was involved in a crash the previous day. The property manager had the vehicle towed.
23-004312- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check- The caller requested police check on employees at this location due to the doors being locked. On scene police were advised the employees walked out. Management is working to reopen the business.
23-004317- 728 Frawley Road- Vehicle Burglary- The reporting party advised around 0915 hours on today’s date he noticed that his unlocked Chevy had been entered. He stated that he observed the suspect(s) had rifled through his glove box and stated the only item he observed to have been stolen was his silver iPod touch valued at roughly $200. Surveillance showed two males possibly in their early 30’s had entered his vehicle between 0400-0430 hours on today’s date.
23-004322- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road- AOA- Police responded with ERFD on a fire in the lot of the business. On scene ERFD extinguished the blaze.
Night Shift
23-004333 – 941 Spring Creek Road – Assault PD Only – A woman was arrested for Assault after she assaulted a member of the hospital nursing staff.
23-004334 – 5300 BLK Connell Street – Found Child – A resident walked outside to find a 2 year old child in his front yard. The child was returned to his mother after a short search. A Department of Children Services referral was filed.
23-004345 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – A customer and an employee of argued over whether the employee gave a card back. Management will view video.
23-004346 – 9000 BLK Harrison Bay Road – Arrest-Warrant – Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office located a wanted man at his residence. After a records check, an Alias Capias warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was located. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office transported to Hamilton County Jail.
23-004349 – 1000 Bass Pro Drive – Animal Bite – Police were sent to the Bass Pro Shop about a male saying he was attacked by a bear. The male was located just across the state line in Georgia and was not attacked by a bear or any other type of animal. The male was determined to be a mental health consumer.
23-004350 – 1000 BLK Spring Creek Road – Alarm-Burglar – Police were dispatched for an office motion. The church was found secured.
23-004355 – 1400 BLK S. Moore Road Ste BA – Alarm- Burglar – Police were dispatched for a motion detection alarm. The business checked secured.
23-004356 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Theft – Police were called regarding a theft. The store clerk stated she believed a male stole a few sandwiches and fled the store in a silver Nissan Altima. The store does not wish to file a report or prosecute. The clerk wanted the suspect trespassed, if located. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
