April 06 – Day Shift
Officers assisted THP with the vice president’s motorcade quickly passing through our jurisdiction.
23-004071- 3900 BLK of Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Arrest- A man was arrested on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.
23-004075- 800 BLK of McHann Drive- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised his neighbor was putting “satanic items used in witchcraft” on the side of the roadway. On scene police spoke with the caller. No criminal activity was observed.
April 06 – Night Shift
23-004089 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Person/Arrest – Police responded to this location regarding a male walking around going through people’s stuff in their yard. Police contacted the man at the church parking lot. He appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail. At the jail deputies advised they found contraband on him. He was charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-004103 – 5080 S Terrace Road – Suspicious Person – A man was criminally trespassed from the movie theater after he was asked to leave by staff several times and continued to return.
23-004106 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on a Forfeiture Capias warrant for Possession of Meth for Resale. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail by another agency.
April 07 – Day Shift
23-003996 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Supplemental/Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Walker County Sheriff’s Office located the unoccupied stolen van from East Ridge Presbyterian Church sans the catalytic converters a. The vehicle was removed from NCIC and Walker County towed the vehicle.
23-004134 – 600 Camp Jordan Pkwy – Warrant Arrest – Officers observed a man crossing the street and knew him to have an extensive criminal history. Officers spoke with him and learned he had active warrants through Collegedale. He was transported to Silverdale on the Collegedale warrants.
23-004119-6600 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder – Police responded to the hotel for a female in the lobby causing a disorder. Officers made contact with her. She advised she didn’t have anywhere to stay and wanted a room but had no money. Police gave her a courtesy ride to the community kitchen.
April 07 – Night Shift
23-004150-4214 Ringgold Road-Warrant service – Police executed an alias capias for driving on revoked.
23-004144-4214 Ringgold Road-Warrant Service – Police executed an alias capias for driving on suspended.
April 08 – Day Shift
23-004197 – 1417 St Thomas St – Warrant Arrest – During a wellbeing check it was learned the man had an active warrant through Cartersville, GA for terroristic threats. He was detained and transported to Silverdale.
23-004198 – 4400 BLK Louise Ave – Unconscious Party – Police responded with Fire and EMS on an unconscious 44 yr old male. The subject was administered four doses of Narcan by EMS and transported to a local hospital. Officers recovered over half a pound of marijuana in plain view and placed it into property and evidence.
23-007176 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded to this location regarding a female the manager wanted police to trespass from the property due to prior thefts. Police then made contact with the female subject as she was leaving. She was advised she was being trespassed. Managers then discovered she had been trespassed from the property back in March 2022 and August 2022. Police issued a warrant for Aggravated Criminal Trespass.
23-004153 – 3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane – Public Intoxication – A man was arrested for Public Intoxication.
April 08 – Night Shift
23-004214 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was arrested at this location after attempting to break into the business’ mailbox. He believed he was going to find a free tattoo on the inside of it. He was charged with Public Intoxication and Vandalism.
23-0040202 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – A man was served with two warrants out of East Ridge for Aggravated Burglary, and Aggravated Assault while in custody at Silverdale.
23-004210- i75 NB- Fugitive/ drugs for resale- During a traffic stop a man was arrested for a probation warrant out of Catoosa County. During his arrest police located over 29 grams of methamphetamine on his person.
April 09 – Day Shift
23-004240-300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Assist A Citizen- Officers were called to help a party out of the ballfields who got lost while walking the trails. The party was guided back out to the main trail.
23-004215 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Domestic Assault – Police were called to motel lobby concerning a female who had been assaulted. When officers attempted to make contact with the suspect in room 154 it was learned he had fled. He was located a short time later at the Mapco and taken into custody.
23-004176 – 1400 BLK Manna Ln – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody on a warrant for aggravated criminal trespassing. She was transported to Silverdale.
23-004224 – 1100 BLK McBrien Rd – Domestic Assault – Police received a request to check the wellbeing of a female subject. The caller alleged the woman had been assaulted. Officers made contact with the woman who initially stated the offender was not in the residence. Police noticed blood on the woman’s face and requested to check the residence. She allowed officers in and they made contact with the offender. The woman’s left eye was found to be extremely swollen, bruised and cut. The offender was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale Detention Center.
April 09 – Night Shift
23-004247 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place – Theft – Reporting party requested an officer to respond to this location regarding her catalytic converter being stolen from both of her vehicles. Police do not have any suspect information at this time.
23-004246-700 BLK Astor Lane-Unconscious Person- When police responded to this location and found a male subject nonresponsive in the front yard. Once he regained consciousness he admitted to drinking earlier in the afternoon. While trying to get him medically cleared, he became irate and started cussing police and EMS. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
23-004248 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder – Police responded to a call in reference to a male attempting to break into the store. The man was upset the store closed early and was banging on the window trying to get a refund for the coffee he purchased on his mobile app. He was trespassed from the store.
April 10- Day Shift
23-004254- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a homeless male was sleeping on the front sidewalk of the business. On scene the male was checked for warrants then sent on his way.
23-004255- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A woman was served several East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.
23-004257- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting- The caller advised a male walked out of the store with a tea. On scene police located the male and identified him. The business declined prosecution but did request him be issued a criminal trespass warning.
23-004258- 1600 BLK Castleberry Avenue- Mental Health Consumer- The caller advised a man was on the property acting odd. He decided to accept a ride to an appropriate facility.
23-004261- 1417 Saint Thomas Street- Overdose- First officers on scene observed a female wearing a yellow shirt run from the room eastbound towards Chick Fil A. Other responding units diverted to that location and detained her and another female. She advised a male began to overdose on what they believed to be Fentanyl. Officers relocated to the room to render aid. The man advised he took a blue pill and then began to overdose. Police located and disposed of drug paraphernalia (used tin foil) in the room. All parties were checked for warrants and told to leave the property.
23-004267- 1500 BLK of Tombras Avenue- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male was walking along Tombras Avenue yelling at cars. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
April 10- Night Shift
23-004292 – 700 BLK Marley Way – MVC With Injuries – Police were dispatched to this location regarding a head-on crash. Police arrived on the scene and provided medical assistance for both drivers until EMS arrived. Both drivers were transported to the Hospital.
23-004298 – 6200 BLK Ringgold Rd – EMS Assist – Police and EMS were sent here regarding a male crawling across the street. Police contacted the man, limping, and complaining of a foot injury. He was ultimately transported by EMS to a local hospital.
