Feb. 17 Day Shift

ER warrant served on Alexander Garcia
4214 Ringgold Rd (Supplement)-
On 02/17/2020 at approximately 1154 hrs, Catoosa County Georgia Sheriff’s Office located a black and gray enclosed trailer (bearing VIN 5KGBBTA2XL1018212) parked at the Georgia Welcome Center, 2726 I-75 Southbound. Upon verifying the trailer’s VIN and license plate, it was found that it was registered in NCIC as stolen from 623 Camp Jordan Pkwy on 02/16/2020. Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office advised that the trailer was unoccupied and the two dirt bikes inside it were not recovered. CCSO also advised that the lock on the side door to the trailer was damaged and there were some helmets and clothing found inside. Per Hamilton County dispatch, CCSO had the trailer towed by Bell’s Towing to their business, located at 29 Armstrong Rd, Ringgold, Ga 30736. Police contacted the owner and advised him of the trailer’s location. The vehicle was removed from NCIC. The dirt bikes are still listed in NCIC. Reference CCSO Complaint # 20200257.

The resident stated sometime during the night his 2012 Honda Accord Tn 9S19G6 was taken from the street in front of this address, No suspects. Vehicle was entered into NCIC
111 Windmere Dr-
Leslie Clarke advised sometime during the night someone entered her vehicle and took 3-4 gift cards. No suspect info.
1200 S Seminole- Traffic stop-
Officers initiated a stop on a white Ford explorer with a malfunctioning brake light. Upon stopping the vehicle contact was made with the driver Gordan Bowers and front seat passenger Stanley Thomas. Cpl. Rogers and his K9 partner Axel responded to the location. Cpl. Rogers deployed K9 Axel to sniff the exterior of the vehicle. K9 Axel gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle. Additionally an information check revealed the passenger, Thomas, had an outstanding warrant. Thomas was taken into custody and a search was conducted of his person. A used syringe was located in Thomas’ right shoe. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search several more syringes were located. Firearm equipment, a “lower” for an AR-15 style weapon, was located in the passenger floorboard. Bowers was issued a traffic citation and released pending further prosecution at a later date.

Night Shift
3604 Indian Trl. / Animal call:
Police were called to this location for dogs at large. Police spoke to the RP who stated when she was walking her dog, a white Pitbull tried to attack her dog, but she picked her dog up before he could be injured. The RP stated an off-duty animal control officer saw what happened and grabbed the white Pitbull and put him back in the fence behind 3636 Indian Trl. Police made contact with the homeowners at 3636 Indian Trl, who stated their dog got off the leash that was fixed on the tree in the front yard. Police warned them about dogs at large and the RP requested offers drive through the neighborhood because the dogs frequently get out.
3600 block of Old Ringgold Rd/ Mis. Citation:
Following a traffic stop at this location Owen L Smith Jr was given a misdemeanor citation for driving on a revoked license.
1417 Mack Smith Rd. / Suspicious:
Police contacted David Walker and Janifter Evans at this location for suspicious activity. Evans was taken into custody for Criminal Impersonation and possession of drug paraphernalia. Walker was taken into custody for criminal impersonation and resisting arrest. Walker was also found to have active warrants through Soddy Daisy and Catoosa County.
