Pioneers Down Sweetwater in Boys Soccer

On Tuesday, East Ridge capped its regular-season play with a 4-1 win over Sweetwater in boys high school soccer action.

Adam Adem led the way for the Pioneers with three goals. Rivaldo Yoc Bamaca accounted for the final score for East Ridge, which finished with a 10-4 season record.

Luis Padilla, Joel Matias and Luis Diaz were credited with assists.

The Pioneers outshot the Rams, 12-6, in a match it busted open with three second-half goals.

East Ridge will play Tyner tonight in the quarterfinal round of the District 6 A/AA Tournament at Camp Jordan. Game time is 7 p.m.
