Boyd Patterson seeks to serve Hamilton County as the next Division III Criminal Court Judge. After working closely with Hamilton County Law Enforcement throughout his twenty years of public service, the Prosecutor-turned-Public Defender has now received support from two major law enforcement organizations.
“As Police Officers and Sheriff Deputies, the members of F.O.P. Rock City Lodge #22, both active and retired, have known and worked with Attorney Boyd Patterson for over 20 years. During this time, he has proven himself to be fair and trustworthy.
Mr. Patterson’s long track record of working to seek justice for victims and to enforce the laws of Hamilton County and the State of Tennessee have earned him respect from the law enforcement community. He is known and respected for his good character, ethical conduct, and his exemplary work ethic.”
Part of the IBPO’s endorsement follows:
“The International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 673, proudly endorse Boyd Patterson for Criminal Court Judge, Division III. Mr. Patterson’s unique career as Prosecutor, Public Defender, Youth Counselor, and Gang Task Force Coordinator distinguishes his candidacy in several significant aspects.
“Mr. Patterson’s professional experiences, character, and vision for the future, guarantee the fairness for all sides that Officers and citizens need on the bench. He believes that respect for the law includes respect for ethical law enforcement.”
Patterson built his career around protecting our youth, defending those less fortunate, and combating gang crime from every angle. He is more than qualified and ready to serve as Hamilton County’s next Criminal Court Judge.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of law enforcement officers, with whom I have worked for nearly two decades,” Patterson said. “Respect for the law includes respect for law enforcement and their support highlights my commitment to apply the law fairly to all parties.”
