The East Ridge Optimist Club will be hosting the East Ridge Police Department’s Assistant Chief Joshua Creel this Tuesday at the East Ridge Community Center, at 6:30pm. Join us as Assistant Chief Creel talks about social media safety, especially in the arena of personal information posted online and safety; and his new Walk and Talk Wednesday, an ERPD weekly program designed to get the community out and about while discussing any issues with Police Command Staff.
The East Ridge Optimist Club is a group of volunteers from East Ridge and surrounding areas who seek to promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs; to inspire respect for the law; to promote patriotism and work for international accord and friendship among all people; to aid and encourage the development of youth, in the belief that the giving of one’s self in service to others will advance the well-being of humankind, community life and the world.
The East Ridge Optimists meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at the East Ridge Community Center on Tombras Ave, behind City Hall. We are always looking for new members and new ideas to help us achieve our goal and we would love for you to stop by and see what we are all about.
