Day Shift October 18
23-013163- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Burglary/Vandalism- The caller advised a concession stand had been entered. Officers observed the building had been entered and vandalized. At an unknown time, unknown suspect(s) entered the building and damaged walls by spray painting. They also took bags of popcorn and sugar and dumped them all over the floor. The suspect(s) entered the building through a door between the bathrooms. CID responded to the scene and processed the scene for evidence.
23-013176- 6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Fight- The caller advised several employees were fighting in the kitchen. Police spoke with the manager. She confirmed a physical altercation did occur, but the suspects had already left the property. A short time later police were called back to the business on a fight in the parking lot. On scene no fight was located.
Night Shift October 18
23-013181 – 4500 BLK Pontiac Drive – Attempted Burglary – The resident reported someone attempted to open all three doors to his home beginning with the front door and working around to the side door and finally the rear door. After checking all three doors and finding them locked the suspect departed in his car. The suspect was a tall slender male with dark short curly hair. The suspect drove an older model Honda Accord with dark colored faded paint. The residence was added to the watchlist for additional patrol.
23-013183,23-013185 – 3713 Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – Police responded regarding a female using motion picture money to pay for her food. The female on purchased her meal with a counterfeit $100 on 10/17/2023 and left the store. Approximately two hours later the same female returned to the business after having changed clothes and purchased more food with counterfeit bills. Report is on file for both incidents.
23-013188 – 400 BLK Scruggs Road – Auto Theft – Police responded to this location after the reporting party stated a trailer was taken from the back of the business. The reporting party advised the trailer along with the pressure washing equipment totaled over $20,000. There is no suspect description.
23-013191 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / DUI Arrest – Police observed a party driving on the sidewalk for several hundred feet on the 4100 block of Ringgold Rd. After conducting a traffic stop and observing multiple clues during SFST, she was arrested for DUI. While in cuffs the arrestee urinated in the parking lot next to her car. She was transported to jail and a blood sample was placed in property and evidence.
23-013194 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – Police responded regarding a disorder in the emergency room. Police contacted medical staff who advised the woman was discharged but wouldn’t leave while cussing at staff. Medical staff advised her they wanted her off the property and issued a trespass warning. Police advised her she was trespassed and asked not to return pending a medical emergency.
23-013195 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop-Narcotics – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody after being found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-013199 – 4000 BLK S. Terrace Road – Domestic Disorder –Police responded to this location regarding a party who had been assaulted by her boyfriend. Police contacted the RP who advised her boyfriend had grabbed her and punched her. She had blood on her face. Chattanooga Police contacted the man who advised she had assaulted him and had visible marks. Police are unable to determine the primary aggressor due to both parties having signs of being in a physical altercation and both being intoxicated.
