The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
October 03 – Day Shift
5900 Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- 5900 Ringgold Rd (auto theft):
At Matias Auto Repair a 2003 Black Ford Explorer (GA PBK3077) was stolen from this location by an unknown white male. The mechanic gave the keys to the unknown white male without verifying he was the owner of the vehicle after the unknown white male paid for the repairs done with cash. The owner arrived to pay for the repairs and get his vehicle to find the keys the vehicle had been given to the suspect. Entered in NCIC on 10/3/2020.
715 South Lovell Avenue- Disorder Prevention-
Police were dispatched on a disorder between landlord and tenant. On arrival officers spoke to all parties involved and any potential disorder was prevented.
3500 blk of Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check-
The caller advised a white female was walking close to the roadway and was afraid she might get hit. Officers checked the area but did not locate the female.
1706 Keeble Street (Sunny’s Market)- Unconscious Person/Narcotics Arrest-
Hunter White was found passed out in the parking lot of the business in his vehicle. Police were able to wake him and have him exit the vehicle. As he moved to the rear of the vehicle, he dropped a small baggie of suspected heroin. He was arrested and transported to 601.
1015 Hurst Street- Narcotics Arrest-
Police received a call of a white BMW driving recklessly down Schofield Ave endangering children in the neighborhood. Once in the area police did find a white BMW parked at 6103 Schofield Ave matching the description given with the driver still present in the car. Police got out with the car and found a white male, later identified as Koby P., in the driver seat and a juvenile female in the passenger seat. A smell of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Police advised Koby due to the smell of an illegal substance coming from the vehicle police would search the vehicle. Once the juvenile exited the vehicle, police discovered a bag of a leafy green substance in her shorts. No other illegal substance found in the car, but the juvenile had thrown another bag of a leafy green substance conducive with marijuana under the car.
Koby has a history of dealing marijuana and has been known to frequent this residence. The homeowner gave police permission to search the juvenile’s room. The juvenile resides at this home. During a search of her room police did find a plastic baggy filled with what appeared to be shrooms. The shrooms were taken by police for evidence. The juvenile was placed into custody for possession of schedule 1 drugs and tampering with evidence. Before leaving the scene the homeowner advised police, she wanted to criminally trespass Koby from her address. The juvenile was cleared and taken to the Hamilton Co. Juvenile Detention Center for booking. The shrooms and marijuana were entered into East Ridge property.

October 03 – Night Shift
201 Eads Street/Misdemeanor Citation-DWLRS:
Michael A. Jones was issued a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Revoked. His girlfriend called to report him stealing a truck, but he returned before police left the scene.
3609 Bennett Road/Civil Matter:
RP called because children were playing in the lawn of a duplex she rents. The tenant of the apartment was ok with the children playing in the yard.
6100 Ringgold Road/Crash, Hit and Run, DUI:
Elias O. Ignacio Silvestre while driving a Nissan 350Z ran into the rear of an Infiniti SUV while it was in the center turn lane adjacent to Popeyes Cajun Chicken. Ignacio Silvestre was arrested for DUI and Resisting.
5422 Marion Ave / Domestic:
Police responded to a domestic assault at this location where it was discovered Mitchell Bowman had assaulted a woman by holding her down and striking her and then throwing a dresser at her. When police attempted to take Bowman into custody, he became combative and compliance was gained using intermediate weapons. Bowman was charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest.
35 Frawley Rd / Supplement:
A female party came to the police department to add possible suspect information on a shots fired call that occurred outside her residence in April 2020.
1450 Mack Smith Road/Public intox:
Amber Miranda was arrested for public intoxication at this location. She admitted to taking bath salts and being up for three days.
4338 Ringgold Road/Mental health:
A female subject was transported to Parkridge East for a mental evaluation.
5400 Connell St/Shots fired/ 1200 Mcbrien Road/evading:
Police were dispatched to Connell St. in reports of a single gunshot then a black male leaving the area towards McBrien Road. Police located a male matching the description on McBrien Road the male took off east through the woods on foot while pulling a firearm out of his waistband. The male was wearing white pants and blue jacket last seen in the wood line east of McBrien Road. Officers were not able to locate the suspect after he fled.
October 04 – Day Shift
Cedar Glen Circle @ Frawley Road- Suspicious People-
The anonymous caller advised two black females were observed walking through the neighborhood. On arrival in the area no criminal activity was observed.
4135 East Ridge Drive- Burglary-
The homeowner returned to find his residence had been burglarized. Per video surveillance four black males entered the residence and took several items. The suspects have not been identified. CID responded to the scene for evidence collection.
3216 Gleason Drive (Ridgeview Point#11)- Apartment Fire/AOA-
Police responded with Fire to apartment 11 on a furnace fire. Once on scene officers secured the apartment. Fire then took over and put out the fire. There were no injuries reported.
4209 Ringgold Road (Jack’s)- Shots Fired-
The caller advised of hearing one gunshot in the area of the restaurant. He further advised he observed two black males walking behind the business at the time the shot was heard. On arrival officers did not locate anything out of the ordinary.
South Moore Road @ Anderson Avenue- DUI Arrest-
Bobby Green was arrested and charged with DUI following a traffic crash at this location.

October 04 – Night Shift
5700 Roper Street/Vehicle Burglary:
Between 2200 on October 3, 2020 and 0500 on October 4, 2020, A person(s) stole a cell phone from a vehicle belonging to an individual while it was parked on Roper Street.
5300 Ringgold Road/Crash-Injuries-DUI:
Atheena N. Hayes traveling west bound in a Buick Regal passed vehicle on the right, ran a red light and was hit by a Nissan Titan traveling south bound McBrien Road. Hayes was arrested for DUI 2nd and Driving While License Revoked.
5800 Ringgold Road / AOA Warrant:
Bryan Yates was arrested on warrants out of Franklin, TN following a traffic stop. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
3620 Ida Belle/Disordely Conduct:
Wensdy Griffith was arrested for disorderly conduct after screaming at neighbors and threatening people to come outside and fight her.
1491 Mack Smith Road/Theft:
The complainant reported his iphone 11 pro was stolen while doing laundry at the Coin Laundry. A report was made on file.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel) / Suicidal Ideations:
Joe Johnson Mental Health Center contacted Police to assist with a CON on an individual staying at the Budgetel. Police made contact with the subject at this location and transported her to Parkridge East for proper mental treatment.
4150 Ringgold Rd. @ Cash Express:
While conducting business checks, officers located a shattered window to the front of Cash Express at this address. Officers entered and searched the business. No items appeared to have been messed with. At this time it is unclear on what caused the window to break. A responsible was notified but was not able to respond for approximately 3 hours from 0500 am.
