The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
Oct. 21 Day Shift
6674 Ringgold Road (Chattanooga Inn)- Unknown Trouble-
Dispatch received a phase two 911 call from the area of the motel. The female caller was whispering into the phone and was hard to understand. Officers checked the area with no one located. A short time later police received a second call from the unknown female. Officers responded back to the motel with nothing located.
Court Drive @ Merrill Street- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a person was standing in the intersection with a sign. Upon arrival in the area no one was located.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Unconscious Person-
The caller advised a 20/30-year-old male may be overdosing. On arrival EMS was able to revive the male by using Narcan. He refused transport to the hospital. A short time later police were called back to issue a criminal trespass warning to the man due to him causing a disorder with motel staff.
1000 block McHann Drive- Child Neglect-
The caller advised she located a small child in the roadway close to this address. While officers were en route the mother of the child gathered it from the roadway and took it inside. On arrival police contacted the mother who had fallen asleep while the child was playing.
1510 South Seminole Drive- Suicidal Threats-
The caller advised a woman threatened to jump in front of a car while hitch hiking. She was last seen walking north on South Seminole. On arrival in the area she was located at the Freedom Church. She advised she did not wish to harm herself and requested a ride to 1015 South Seminole. Her request was granted.
1517 Tombras Avenue (Court)- Warrant Service-
Katherine Gilbert was arrested on an East Ridge warrant and transported to 601.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- AOA-
Police responded with EMS on an elderly male with difficulty breathing. On arrival police stood by while EMTs handled the call.
941 Spring Creek Road (Parkridge East)- Person Shot-
The caller advised a male arrived at the hospital by personal vehicle with a gunshot wound to the back. While en route officers were advised the male was being transferred to Erlanger. A short time later the victim was confirmed to have been involved in a shooting at 2815 Banks Road in the county.

Night Shift
1232 S. Seminole Drive / Theft:
The complainant reported his Husqvarna 350VT stolen from this location while working on a customer’s yard. Police completed a theft report and entered the leaf blower into NCIC.
3400 Myra Lane / Warrant Service:
Police took George McCallie into custody for an active Hamilton County warrant following a traffic stop at this location.
5611 Ringgold Road / Auto Burglary:
Police took Blake Drouillard into custody for auto burglary, theft, and public intoxication at this location after he was seen entering a delivery truck and taking a Dewalt drill.
600 S Germantown Road / Driving on Revoked:
Joseph Crutcher was issued a misdemeanor citation in leu of arrest for driving on revoked.
500 Bacon Trail / Traffic Stop:
Jay Lacey-Young was arrested for possession of heroin and criminal impersonation at this location during a traffic stop.
3633 Helen Lane / Assault:
Shelley Underwood was arrested for assault after she hit her neighbor in the face with car keys during an argument with her about moving her vehicle.
5408 Ringgold Road / Traffic Stop:
Christin Watson was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
1502 McDonald Road (Life Care Center of East Ridge) / Elder Abuse:
The complainant reported that during his stay at Life Care of East Ridge between 9/7/2020 and 9/16/2020 that he experienced neglectful treatment from a few medical staff members. He currently resides at the Life Care Center of Collegedale where an officer took the report.
