The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
10/7/2020 Night Shift
3600 Fountain Ave. / Narcotics Arrest: Timothy Shved was arrested for Public Intoxication, Possession of Sch. I, Possession of Sch II, Possession of Sch IV, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a consensual encounter at this address.
5308 Connell St./narcotics/warrants: Police were dispatched to this location on a narcotics tip. While doing a consensual encounter police spoke with Johnny Burns in the yard. During a consensual search police located methamphetamine on his person. Joshua Mull was arrested on an East Ridge Warrant. Christel Childress was arrested on a Hamilton County Warrant.
1100 Chippewah Dr/narcotics/warrants: Lori Toney was arrested for criminal impersonation and possession of methamphetamine. Ms. Toney also had five warrants out of Hamilton County.
700 S. Germantown / Arrest: Stanley Nelson was taken into custody for driving on revoked for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
6514 Ringgold Rd. / Arrest: Tyrone Waller was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location and charged with Possession of SCH VI with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal impersonation. Police discovered 154.6 grams of marijuana and a small digital scale.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway / Disorder with a weapon: Reporting party reported that four juveniles used racial slurs and threw rocks at her and her juvenile friend. She stated that she was struck by the thrown rocks and displayed bruising on her left thigh from where she was hit. Her juvenile friend video recorded the incident and allowed officers to review the footage. The video showed one of the juveniles in the physical act of throwing a rock. Police took that juvenile into custody and released the other three to their parents. The juvenile in custody was transported to JDU for aggravated assault.
941 Spring Creek Rd. ParkRidge East Hospital: Officers responded to the ER after staff advised they had a disruptive patient. Vincent Scott was arrested for disorderly conduct when police discovered he was yelling sexual comments to staff and wishing death upon everyone.
10-8-2020 Day Shift
3623 Fountain Avenue (Sweetbay #65)- Disorder Prevention- Joseph Horton was arrested on two East Ridge warrants after calling police and requesting a stand-by to retrieve his property from the apartment.
Warrant Service- Tyrese Branch was served on two outstanding East Ridge Alias Capias warrants while at City Hall. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
4000 blk of Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Arrest- Heather Kernea and Taylor Poe were arrested following a traffic stop. Kernea was charged with driving on revoked. Poe was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
10/8/2020 Night Shift
3568 Connelly Ln. / Theft: The complainant reported while carrying in groceries from her vehicle her purse was stolen off her porch. The purse was described as being green in color and contained several items of a personal nature. No suspect information was made available to police at this time. Report on file.
4214 Ringgold Rd / Warrant Service: Emroy Letson was taken into custody by Hamilton County for active East Ridge warrants for burglary, theft, and weapons charges.
100 Interstate 75 northbound / Pedestrian Struck: Chattanooga Police relayed a call concerning a pedestrian claiming to be struck in East Ridge while walking northbound Interstate 75 right at the split. ERPD responded to Erlanger East where they spoke to Brian R. who stated after police requested that he leave the Welcome Center, he began walking Northbound I75. Brian stated that a 1990s Toyota Camry, 4 door sedan, dark blue or black in color with light tinted windows, struck his left shoulder with the right-side mirror of the car. He further stated that it was occupied x 2 but could not provide a description of the occupants. Officers did not observe any injuries that would be consistent with him being struck by a vehicle. The victim and his “service dog,” Savannah, remained at the Hospital pending x-rays. No “service dogs” were injured in the incident.
4214 Ringgold Rd. / Reckless Driving / Felony Evading: In the area of the East Ridge Police Department, officers observed a black Harley/cruiser reckless driving, traveling west on Ringgold Rd. Officers captured the bikes speed on radar at 96 mph in a 40 mph zone. Officers were able to attempt a stop on the bike in the 3300 block of Ringgold Rd. The bike then accelerated quickly out of the tunnels and fled from officers. At the point officers knew the suspect to be fleeing, officers followed department policy and allowed the suspect to flee. He was last seen south on 29th Street towards Dodd’s Avenue
10/9/2020 Day Shift
1417 Mack Smith Road (warrant service): Police responded to the East Ridge Retirement Center after a caller reported a topless female subject was observed wetting herself in a puddle next to a white vehicle. The vehicle was located and was occupied by Sabrina G. and Steven Overby (w/m). Overby claimed they were waiting to meet his ex-wife, who stays at the Budgetel. Overby was arrested on an active warrant through East Ridge for possession of meth. Sabrina was checked for warrants and released.
422 S. Seminole Drive (warrant service): Police assisted Codes with squatters at this location. Tiffany Seng was subsequently arrested on a full extradition warrant from Texas.
601 Walnut Street (warrant service ): Brandon Hill was arrested on an East Ridge warrant while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway (stolen auto recovery): Police located an abandoned 2007 Honda CRV (GA RJN8297) in the park which was reported stolen from Dade County.
941 Spring Creek Road (fugitive): Anthony Chaparro (w/m, 8/6/89) has active felony warrants through Bradley County and misdemeanor warrants through Collegedale. He is currently being transferred to ICU due to severe health concerns.
10/9/2020 Night Shift
4011 Ringgold Road- Public intoxication- possession of drug paraphernalia- 20-013517– Ben Childers was arrested for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia after police received a complaint about several people smoking narcotics in the parking lot.
1417 St Thomas St/ Vehicle Recovery (20-013526): Police recovered a stolen vehicle at this location. The vehicle was removed from NCIC and the owner was notified.
3700 Ringgold Road- DUI/ Driving while revoked for DUI- 20-013522- David Biskner was arrested for DUI and driving while revoked for DUI.
100 I-75NB/ Assault (20-013529): Police arrested Oscar Lua following a road rage indent were he allegedly assaulted a motorist.
2012 Pioneer Road- Theft from a vehicle- 20-013527- RP stated she left her vehicle unlocked and someone stole a white and pink wallet containing $60 cash and a Venmo Card. No suspect information.
3523 Connelly- Disorder/ OFFICER BIT– 20-013532- RP called police to remove her boyfriend from the house. She was advised to meet with the courts to have him evicted due to him living at the house. She stated he moved out three months ago and has been living at Silverdale Detention Center. While on scene, a brown dog attacked an officer tearing a hole in his pants.
10/10/2020 Day Shift
601 Walnut Street (warrant service): Chelon Davis was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on an active East Ridge warrant.
1706 Keeble Street (burglary): A w/m wearing a dark colored sweatshirt or jacket with two light colored stripes around the wrist, bicep and waist areas forced entry through the rear entrance of Sunny’s Market around 3:00 a.m. this morning. The suspect stole dozens of packs of cigarettes and cigars and an eighteen pack of Michelob Ultra. CID responded.
10/10/2020 Night Shift
3605 Helen Lane- Shots Fired- 20-013557- RP advised they heard 2-3 gun shots. Police checked the area and nothing was located.
5400 Ringgold Rd/ D.U.I (20-013558): Police arrested Todd Connally for DUI and possessing a handgun while intoxicated, following a traffic stop at this location.
4248 Kenton Drive- Domestic Assault- 20-013564– Evan Clinton was arrested for domestic assault after striking the victim with a closed fist to the face.
