The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along reports.”
Nov. 16 Day Shift
5512 Ringgold Road (vandalism):
J103 radio station management contacted police about another instance of vandalism in which employees discovered two shattered windows at this location. The window was initially broken out about three weeks ago and was finally replaced only a week ago. Pieces of a broken clear and yellow marble were recovered at the scene.
5721 Ringgold Road (theft):
A black male entered Stereo City, selected a 1500 watt amplifier and approached the counter with it. He spoke briefly to the owner and then ran out the door. The suspect fled in a brown Nissan Optima, but the tag, W4102P, came back to a gold Ford Taurus. The suspect was not located.
1310 San Hsi Drive (vandalism):
The resident filed a police report after finding a crude word scratched into the paint on the trunk of his vehicle. The resident doesn’t know where the incident occurred, but he thinks it happened during the past week.
4214 Ringgold Road (auto theft recovery):
A man came to the police department for a VIN verification on his 2018 BMW, but the vehicle confirmed as stolen from Birmingham, Alabama. The man said he purchased the vehicle from an individual in Atlanta, Georgia. The vehicle was towed by East Ridge Auto Electric.
1619 Barry Road (AOA):
Police cleared a condemned house at this location so the Street Department could demolish it.
5511 Ringgold Road (vehicle fire):
An F-250 began smoking while being driven in this block of Ringgold Road. The driver pulled over, and the occupants exited the truck which promptly became engulfed in flames. East Ridge Fire was able to extinguish the fire, and the truck was towed by Trantham’s.

Night Shift
6700 Ringgold Road – Mental Health Call-
A female subject was located in front of a closed business talking nonsense at the top of her voice and not responding to any questions. She was transported to Parkridge East for a mental health evaluation.
1799 S Seminole Dr/ Arrest (20-015170):
Following a traffic stop, police arrested Deangelo Fleetwood for driving while suspended and a passenger Teezo Boyd for criminal impersonation. Both had felony warrants through Hamilton County.
3657 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service-
Jeffery Garner was arrested on a Nashville PD warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail after he called police saying someone was trying to break into his room. No evidence of someone trying to break in was found.
6800 Ringgold Road –
Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash, police arrived on scene and located a beige Hyundai Elantra with rear-end damage. The driver told police that a white SUV had fled the scene of the accident north on Frawley road. Police located the white SUV at Frawley Road and Fawn Drive, the driver was identified and transported to Parkridge East where he was admitted. Warrants are being sought against the driver for Driving Under the Influence and Leaving the Scene of an accident. The Passenger was arrested for Public Intoxication.
