The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
November 12 – Day Shift
441 Bluebird Circle (criminal trespass):
The complainant reported another suspicious vehicle at the pumping station next to his property. Police arrived on scene to find the complainant had closed the gate to the station and backed his truck up to it to corral James Darren Scott and his spray painted black Chevy Silverado until officers arrived. Scott claimed he was given permission by someone from the “water company” to cut logs and trees on the hill of this property. Scott was previously trespassed from property off of Anderson Avenue after claiming he was given permission to cut trees in the area. Scott did not have any ID or documents giving him access to the property and was issued a criminal trespass.
1510 S. Seminole Drive (citizen assist):
The elderly resident was locked out of her residence after going to the mailbox. Police located an open window and with the assistance of ERFD were able to gain access and unlock her door to her home.
4245 Newport Drive (attempted auto burglary):
Neighborhood cameras recorded a white male subject pulling door handles on the resident’s vehicle. The homeowner confronted the suspect who then left the area. Later in the day the suspect was found to be part of a disorder at 724 Astor Lane. Daltyn Smith was arrested on warrants as well as charges from earlier in the day.
4348 Ringgold Road (disorder with a weapon):
A caller reported seeing a white male pointing a handgun at someone while at the Sonic restaurant. The weapon was actually a pet snake which was being shown to a passerby.
3406 Ten Oaks Drive (auto burglary):
The resident found a window on his truck smashed out and an antique knife missing from the vehicle. No suspect information is available.

November 12 –Night Shift
623 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Suspicious Person 20-014979):
Reporting party stated a white male was walking through the parking lot attempting to open vehicle doors. Subject was not located by police.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Mental Health):
Police responded to a mental emergency at this location. The party had just been dropped off by his case worker. Subject was transported by police to Parkridge East.
323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Citizen Assist):
A band of armed fugitive recovery agents were attempting to gain access to Camp Jordan Arena. One of the parties stated she was at the arena to bring in food for the concession stand.
4100 Ringgold Rd (Misdemeanor Citation 20-014985):
James Ryan was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving while suspended.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 20-014986):
Arrest warrants were served on Demetriona Wade at the Hamilton County Jail.
3300 Gleason Dr (Arrest 20-014987):
De Iveon Sanders was taken into custody during a traffic stop for driving while suspended, possession of a stolen firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, and retaliation for past acts. Ashlee Watkins was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
1300 Bennett Rd (Assist Fire 20-014988):
Assisted fire with attempting to locate the source of heavy smoke. Nothing located.
6116 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 20-014989):
Franciso Vasquez was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop.
1507 Karwill Ln (Suspicious Vehicle 20-01500):
Reporting party stated there was a Nissan Xterra parked in the parking lot running and occupied. Police made contact with three heavily intoxicated Hispanic males. Yuri Vicente Lopez was taken into custody for DUI 2nd, providing alcohol to a minor and open container. Emmanuel Vicente was taken into custody for underage consumption of alcohol and public intoxication. Juan Vicente was taken into custody for public intoxication and providing alcohol to a minor.

1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Unknown 911-
Dispatch was advised by Catoosa dispatch of a possible domestic disorder at the motel. When officers arrived, no disorder was located.

November 13 – Night Shift
3100 Ringgold Road / Felony Evading:
Police attempted a traffic stop on a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse with unknown registration. After exiting the tunnels, the vehicle continued onto Westside Drive at a high rate of speed. Police deactivated emergency equipment and allowed the subject to safely flee the from police.
3100 Bimini Place / Warrant Service:
Megan Hancock was taken into custody for Hamilton County Warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
1015 S. Seminole / Warrant Service:
Dominique Taylor and Johnnie Kelly were both taken into custody for Hamilton County warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
4222 Ringgold Road / Unconscious person:
Jaime Dixon was arrested for DUI, Possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was observed slumped over the wheel of her running vehicle in the parking lot.
482 McBrien Road (At Home Store) / Back up Fire:
Police responded to this address around 02:00 to find the dumpster on the West end of the building contained flames and smoke. Chattanooga and East Ridge Fire arrived on scene to subdue the fire. Police and Fire inspected the inside of the store to find that smoke bellowed up in the stock room, which Fire opened the emergency doors to allow the smoke to escape. The combined team of CFD with ERFD were able to extinguish the fire in the dumpster. Investigators discovered indications that due to the level of compactness in the dumpster, it may not have been arson that started the fire.
Scruggs Rd. / Back Fire:
PD and Fire responded to a dumpster fire. ERFD extinguished the fire.
3800 Ringgold Road/Arrest-DUI:
Shane Robert Abbott was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop for speeding.
