The East Ridge Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 25.
The event will give residents an opportunity to meet some of the men and women who help keep East Ridge safe.
It kicks off at 6 p.m. behind City Hall on Tombras Avenue. According to the ERPD social media page, the department will provide burgers and candy for the children.
The event will be an opportunity to meet the department’s new command staff, including newly installed Chief Clint Uselton and Assistant Chief Josh Creel.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
