Municipal Court Docket for Dec. 29

The following people are scheduled to appear in East Ridge Municipal Court on Tuesday, Dec. 29. Due to COVID-19 concerns, only those in the custody of law enforcement are scheduled to appear.

Court officials said people with pending cases in the City of East Ridge and are on bond will either be notified of a new court date, or ask that person to contact the court to get a new court date. People who are charged with a traffic offense, are asked to call the clerk’s office at 423/867-2701 to obtain a new court date.

Cruz Housley – Revoked DL, Possession Meth, Tampering with evidence.

Jeffery Keeler – DUI/2nd.

Baltazar Lopez-Ramirez – No DL, Open Container.

Cuong Mang – Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Stalking, Violation Order of Protection, Vandalism.

Matthew Powell – Criminal Impersonation.

David Sanderson – Public Intoxication.

Kevin Brummit – Possession Meth/For Capias, Possession Marijuana/For Capias, Drug Paraphernalia/For Capias, Registration Violation, No Insurance, Possession Meth, Possession Weapon with Intent, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Marijuana (2).

Stacey Crossno – DUI.

Jessica Holliday – Felony Evading/For Capias, Possession Schedule IV/For Capias, Suspended DL/For Capias, Simple Possession Marijuana/For Capias, Criminal Impersonation/For Capias, Seat Belt, Open Container.

Malik Massey – Criminal Simulation/PTR.

Tiffani Walters – Evading Arrest, Public Intoxication, Aggravated Burglary/For Capias.

Earl Weaver – Vandalism/For Capias.

Dick Cook has lived in East Ridge since the Kennedy Administration when his parents bought a house on Marietta Street. Dick graduated from ERHS in 1976 before going on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he studied Political Science. Dick worked for the Chattanooga Free-Press and the Chattanooga Times Free Press for 22 years. Free-Press Sports Editor Roy Exum plucked him out of production in 1989 and gave him a job as a sports reporter. Dick covered everything from prep sports to the whitewater events on the Ocoee River for the 1996 Olympics. When Chattanooga's two paper's merged, he became the Crime Reporter covering both the Chattanooga Police and Fire Departments. He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
