May 30, 2023 Day Shift
23-006491 – 941 Spring Creek Rd – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody for East Ridge warrants. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-006617 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Rd – Assist a Citizen – A woman requested police assistance in getting to her home in Rossville, GA, after experiencing issues with walking. The party was transported to her destination without incident.
23-006620 – 1300 BLK San Hsi Dr – Auto Theft/Theft – The complainant reported his 2009 white Ford Edge was missing this morning from his driveway. He also advised his loaded Ruger 5.7 was taken from his residence without his permission. The complainant believes his friend is responsible for the thefts as he was residing in his residence for the past few weeks and has a history of theft. Both items were entered into NCIC.
18-012184 – 5900 BLK Brainerd Road – Stolen Property Recovery – Police responded to this location in reference to a stolen firearm recovery. Police recovered the firearm and it was placed into property and evidence at the East Ridge Police Department. Firearm was removed from NCIC.
23-001496 – 1517 Tombras Ave. – Warrant Arrest – A man was arrested for an active East Ridge Warrant at this location for the original charge of Rape. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-006605- 600 BLK Brookfield Avenue- Vandalism- A man reported his 2020 Lexus was vandalized sometime between May 20, at approximately 1200 hours and May 28, at approximately 1300 hours while he was on vacation. An unknown subject attempted to pry the trunk open causing dents, scratches, and a busted taillight estimated at $5,900.
23-006619- 1000 Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- Asset Protection stated a bald male wearing a black t-shirt and khaki pants entered store and proceeded to conceal two boxes of ammunition under his clothing before walking out of the store. Police were able to get photos of the suspect.
23-006618 – 300 BLK Michelle Dr.– AOA – Police responded to this location to assist CPS in removing children from a home per a court order. It was discovered that the mother had a Forfeiture Capias for Theft of Property. She was initially taken into custody and later released from police custody due to medical reasons. The warrant was recalled per Court Clerk and she was issued a court date.
Night Shift
23-006633- 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street – AOA Warrant Service – Police observed a man, who police knew to have active warrants, in the parking lot of the motel. He was arrested.
23 – 006632 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA / Drug Arrest – Police observed a white Toyota Tundra sitting in the handicap spot at the Mapco. After talking with the driver police discovered he had outstanding warrants from sessions court. A search was gained for the vehicle. Police found a total of 8.8 grams of fentanyl and 2.5 grams of meth. Police also found two digital scales, and numerous syringes. He is charged with possession of fentanyl for resale, possession of meth for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
