March 7-Day Shift
23-002707- 4100 BLK Monroe Street- Business Alarm- Police were asked to check for an alarm. Employees on scene advised it was accidental.
23-002710 – 5300 BLK Lazard Street – Theft – Police responded to this location regarding a theft that occurred on March 3rd, 2023. While getting items delivered two employees stole four rings. Police are working on identifying the male subjects.
23-002712- 900 BLK McBrien Road- Suspicious person- Caller advised someone was banging on the front and speaking Spanish. When police arrived on scene it was found to be a painting crew painting the front doors.
23-002713- 3600 BLK Bennett Road- Property/Civil- Police were called to this address regarding the next-door neighbor throwing limbs, leaves, and garbage into their yard. The resident advised police they did not see them do it but know they are. Police noticed a trash can turned over in the yard that may have blown trash over into the yard. The resident was advised it was a civil matter.
23-002716 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Missing Juvenile Found – Police were dispatched to ERPD regarding a missing juvenile who was reported missing by CPD. Police transported the juvenile back to her residence and she was removed from NCIC.
23-002718- 700 BLK Bacon Trial- Disorder- Police were dispatched to this location involving a disorder with a weapon. The complainant advised another party had threatened to shoot him in the head and gut him like a pig. The complainant was advised seeking warrants since it was a misdemeanor crime that did not happen in police presence.
23-002719 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Mental Health Consumer/Public Indecency – Police responded after being advised a male party was in a disorder with an employee after failing to pay for a beer he consumed. On arrival police encountered the man wearing only a pair of sweatpants and underwear. He was non-communicative with officers and appeared to be a mental health consumer. After the employee declined to prosecute, the man was released. He then walked to the end of the parking lot and exposed himself to officers and passers-by. The man was then taken into custody and transported to the jail without further incident.
23-002720 – 1300 BLK Marlboro Ave – Drug Arrest – Police received a BOLO for a possible intoxicated driver. Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Upon searching the vehicle the driver was arrested for Possession of meth, Driving while in possession of meth, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-002725- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Vehicle- Reporting person called about a vehicle doing doughnuts in the gravel lot on Camp Jordan. Nothing was located.
23-002727- 400 BLK S. Moore Road- Suspicious Person- Police were asked to check the area for panhandlers. Police located several panhandlers at the intersection of S. Moore and S. Terrace. They were checked for warrants and told to leave the area.
23-002732 – 5700 BLK Roper St – Suspicious Activity – Police were dispatched to Newcastle Apartments at the request of the property manager, who reported a man was unlawfully in an apartment. the party is currently under an East Ridge conditions of release. Police encountered a male party in the parking lot who advised he was the subject’s brother. He remained loud and argumentative throughout the interaction with police. No one came to the door of the suspected apartment. The party was criminally trespassed from the property per management.
March 7, 2023-Night Shift
23-002738 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Warrant Service – While at City Court, a woman was taken into custody for Forfeiture capias, possession of Methamphetamine. Prior to leaving to the jail police discovered she was in possession of Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
No Number Assigned – 1410 North Mack Smith Road – Open Door – While on patrol police observed the exit gate at the property to be left open. Police checked the property but did not locate anyone.
23-002737 -1517 Tombras Avenue – Warrant Service – Police arrested a man at this location for a warrant out of East Ridge. He was transported and booked accordingly at Silverdale.
23-002741 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse Street – SIA / Trespassing – Police noticed a U-Haul truck parked in the driveway at this location. Police were aware this property had recently been condemned due to unsafe conditions by East Ridge City Code Enforcement. Police located a female at this location and found her to be the former occupant. She was advised that she was not allowed to be at this location.
