March 27-Day Shift
23-003606- 700 BLK State Line Road- Possible Theft- The caller requested to show police video of a possible copper theft at this location. The property has been abandoned and no responsible could be located.
23-003607- 6300 BLK Ringgold Road- Mental Health Consumer- The caller advised a male was at the business acting strange. On scene police spoke with the male and transported him to a facility per his request.
23-003613- 1000 Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- The caller advised a male was concealing merchandise in the store. On scene police were advised the male had concealed 25 rounds of browning 9mm ammunition in his pocket, discarded the box and entered the restroom. Police spoke with the male as he exited the restroom. He consented to a search of his person and police located the rounds in his front left pocket. He was issued a misdemeanor citation for shoplifting and released from the scene. Ammunition was returned to the store.
March 27- Night Shift
23-003625- 800 BLK Summit Ave- Unconscious Person- Police responded to this location regarding a male subject that was breathing but not responding to parties on scene. Upon arrival the male subject was observed to be ill and transported by EMS.
23-003628- 3300 BLK Navajo Drive- Unknown 911- Police were dispatched to the area after receiving an unknown 911 call with muffled voices. Officers checked the area and did not locate any signs of distress.
23-003630- 1500 BLK Rugby Place- Suspicious Activity- Officers responded to this location after a neighbor observed a rear light on at a vacant house. Police checked the residence and all the doors were observed to be secure. No subjects were located on scene.
23-003632 – 5080 S Terrace – Open Door – A manager called due to a door to the rear of the building being open. The manager advised no one has a key and the door stays locked. Police checked the building where the doorway leads and did not locate anything. There were no signs of forced entry. The manager resecured the door.
23-003635 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd – DUI – Police arrested a woman for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop at this location.
23-003644 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop-Attempted – Police turned around on a silver BMW convertible for speeding. The driver turned off the lights and sped off. The vehicle was later found in Catoosa County crashed. Report to follow.
March 24 – Day Shift
23-003452 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was arrested for Public Intoxication after it was determined his level of intoxication caused him to be a danger to himself.
23-003443 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd –Alarm – Police responded to multiple alarm activations at this business. On arrival, it was found a new employee failed to deactivate the alarms.
23-003446 – 1000 BLK Greens Lake Rd – Disorder Prevention – The caller requested police assistance with removing her son from the residence due to him damaging items and causing problems in the home. On arrival police spoke with the complainant and found that due to the length of his stay in her home he would need to be evicted. Police provided the caller with information on whom to contact to begin that process.
23-003451- 5400 BLK Marion Avenue- Arrest- Officers were dispatched to a delayed domestic assault that occurred on March 23, 2023. The complainant told officers her ex-boyfriend assaulted her as she was dropping items at his residence. The complainant advised her ex-boyfriend held her car door open to keep her from leaving. The ex-boyfriend was found to have aggravated burglary warrants out of Criminal Court. He was taken into custody at his residence for the warrant out of Criminal Court, domestic assault, and false imprisonment.
March 24 – Night Shift
23-003495 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Property Damage – Police responded to the Waffle House due to their sign falling and damaging a vehicle. Parts of the sign littered all over the parking lot and onto Champy’s parking lot.
23-003492 – 100 bLK Douglas Drive – Fallen Tree – Police responded to this address due to a tree falling onto the residence. Dispatch advised six parties were inside the residence. All parties were able to get out of the residence without injury. Major damage to the home occurred.
23-003485 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder. Upon arrival police spoke to the reporting party. She stated there was a couple in the lobby yelling at her about a refund. Police spoke to the parties and they agreed to leave without incident.
23-003489 – 4214 Ringgold RD – Warrant Service – A man was served outstanding warrants for domestic assault and conditions of release.
23-003484 – 6500 BLK Ringgold RD – Disorder – Police responded to the gas station in reference to a woman being in an altercation with her boyfriend. Upon arrival it was determined the boyfriend left. She was determined to be intoxicated and was taken into custody.
23-003490 – 6400 BLK Ringgold RD – DUI / Possession of Firearm – Police responded in reference to a reckless driver. The driver was highly intoxicated and in possession of a Glock 9mm Handgun.
March 25 – Day Shift
23-003517 – 1500 BLK Prigmore Rd – Assist Ems – Police responded with fire and EMS on a report of an unresponsive two-year-old. Officers arrived on scene and began assessing the child who was unresponsive but breathing. She was transported to the hospital.
23-003528 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Arrest – A man was taken into custody for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was located passed out in a chair at the restaurant.
23-003533 – 6900 BLK Martha Ave – Trespassing – Police responded to this address in reference to a large group of juveniles trespassing in a pasture and refusing to leave. When officers arrived four of the juveniles were unaccounted for. Resources from the fire department were summoned to conduct a grid search. Prior to fire arrival the juveniles were located. The juveniles were turned over to guardians and released.
23-003507 – 1400 BLK Mana Ln – Disorder – The parties inside two neighboring apartments once again summoned police because of a verbal disorder. Officers have responded to calls at this address three times in two days for the neighbors arguing.
23-003504-5000 BLK South Terrace-Arrest- After being observed sleeping on the sidewalk of the business, a man was taken into custody at this location for a theft of property warrant out of East Ridge.
23-003508-4100 BLK Ringgold Road-Suspicious Person- Officers were called to this location for individuals living in their vehicle in the parking lot. Officers made contact with the pair who were living in their car. Both parties were checked for warrants and were told about East Ridge urban camping ordinance. All parties were asked to move along.
23-003527-3500 BLK Land Road- Suspicious Person- Police were called to this location to check an unknown male knocking on the reporting party’s door and walking in her backyard. Police located the male and found it was her neighbor who lived behind her house telling her a tree fell onto his property.
23-003070-4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service- A woman was served East Ridge warrants for possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia while in custody at Silverdale Detention Facility.
23-003506 – 4000 BLK Bennett Rd – Theft – The resident reported his go-kart, valued at $150, had been stolen overnight.
March 25 – Night Shift
23-003546 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police were dispatched regarding suspicious activity. Dispatch advised the caller advised the store was locked but all the lights were on. It was during their normal business hours. Dispatch was able to contact a manager and she advised they closed early today.
No Number Assigned – 600 BLK Sunny Dell Circle – Extra Watch – Police responded to the address in reference to a light-colored Ford Explorer truck stopping outside the address and looking in the windows.
23-003543 – 4400 BLK Louise Drive – Disorder – Police were dispatched to take a report for custody dispute. Police were informed of a disorder at the address and relocated there. We spoke to a man and woman who were in a verbal altercation. Parties were separated for the evening.
23-003555 – 700 S. Germantown Road – DUI – Following a traffic stop a man was taken into custody for DUI and reckless driving.
23-003545 – 1400 BLK Mana Lane – Disorder – Police responded to this location for a disorder. The reporting party claimed that their neighbor broke their bedroom window. Police responded later and the accused neighbor accused the other neighbor of trying to flood her apartment.
23-003557-1000 BLK Green Lakes Road-Hit and Run – Police responded to this location regarding a hit and run. Police spoke to the victim who stated a car hit her head on and kept driving down Greenslake Road. The vehicle was possibly a 94 Chevy with a missing bumper from the crash. A BOLO was sent to Walker County and Catoosa County.
23-003541 – 6404 Ringgold Road – Arrest – Following an assault at this location a man was taken into custody by police for multiple outstanding warrants out of Hamilton County.
23-003558 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – Police observed a male walking down the sidewalk at this location struggling to maintain his balance. The male was subsequently arrested for public intoxication and resisting stop, halt, frisk. Once officers arrived at the jail, they identified the male via the jail’s fingerprint data base. This was after he had given officers a false name. He was charged accordingly.
March 26– Day Shift
23-003573 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Evading – Police attempted to stop a black Nissan Sentra in the 4000 block of Ringgold Rd. The vehicle fled officers at a high rate of speed, nearly striking several vehicles in the construction zone. The driver was a male with facial tattoos. Warrants pending identification of the driver.
23-003568- 700 BLK Stateline Road- Suspicious Person- Officers were called to this location for a male stealing copper wire from the residence. Officers searched the area, but no one was located.
23-003579 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Party – Motel staff received information from a SnapChat, which stated there would be a party at the motel on 04/01/2023 from 1800-0100 inviting 16+ year olds to a party containing alcohol and food provided but to bring your own weed.
23-003580 – 1000 BLK Greenslake Rd – Arrest – Police responded to this location in reference to a disorder between a man and his mother. When officers arrived they found him in the apartment with a fire he had started in the living room area. The mother had left the apartment shortly after he started the fire and contacted police. During the investigation it was learned he had been locking his mother in the apartment and not allowing her to leave for the past week. The man was taken into custody for aggravated arson, false imprisonment, interference with emergency calls and two counts of reckless endangerment.
March 26 – Night Shift
23-003588 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest – A man was arrested at this location following a 911 call regarding a customer who was refusing to pay for the room he had been staying in. He was transported to Silverdale and charged accordingly.
23-003598 – 500 Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious – Police responded to this location regarding a male who had been cut off from further alcoholic service at this location. Reporting party told dispatch the male got into his vehicle and may have driven to another location to continue drinking. Police were unable to locate the male upon their arrival.
23-003583 -1300 BLK Blocker Lane -Theft from vehicle – Police responded to this location for a theft complaint. Upon arrival police spoke to the reporting party. He stated that his vehicle was broken into sometime during the night. His vehicle window was broken and a Dewalt power tool was stolen from his vehicle.
No Number Assigned – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police observed a male wearing a ski mask driving around on a mini bike through parking lots and on main roadways. Police initiated a traffic stop and spoke with the individual. He was checked for warrants and told to stay off the roadway.
23-003594 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder in reference to a former employee going into the back door of the restaurant and pouring hot water on another employee after business hours. He was found trying to hiding in the parking lot and was arrested for public intoxication.
