The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
March 16 Day Shift
21-003507- 6650 Ringgold Road (La Quinta Inn)- Property Damage-
On arrival police spoke with the victim. He advised several parts of his vehicle were vandalized. Police observed the vehicle and found that the rear windshield was broken out along with both side mirrors. Three tires were deflated and there was a large dent in the rear driver side door. At the time of this report, it is believed nothing was taken from the vehicle. Police were unable to locate any security cameras in the area and there is no suspect information.
21-003508- 3320 Ringgold Road (Fabric Care)- Unwanted Person/Trespass Warning-
The caller advised of a white male hanging around the business since 0200 this morning. On arrival in the area police located the male, Curtis M. and his vehicle at 3452 Ringgold Road (Qik n Ez). Upon checking his identification, Curtis was found to be listed as deceased. Once officers determined this was an issue with the system, the man was advised to not go back to the laundromat.
Warrant Service Transport-
James Von Thaden was transported to 601 on East Ridge warrants.
21-003516- McBrien Road- Child Abuse-
Police received a call from Georgia Child Protective Services out of Catoosa County. Police spoke with an investigator. The investigator stated two juvenile females came to school on 3/15/2021 and reported to the school they were hungover due to their grandparent giving them alcohol. Specifically, the grandmother gave both juvenile females wine and the grandfather gave both juvenile females whiskey after the grandmother went to bed. The next day when they arrived at school, they were hungover. A call to CPS was made by the school. CPS is requesting a report be made by East Ridge Police due to the incident taking place in East Ridge. Charges pending further investigation by CPS.
21-003517- 6700 Ringgold Road (Quality Inn)- Vandalism-
On arrival contact was made with the victim. He advised on the previous night, he and his girlfriend, Nicole Haley, got into a verbal argument and he left before it escalated. He stated that he decided to stay at the motel for the night. The victim advised he came out to his vehicle this morning and noticed the damage. He suspected his girlfriend was responsible. Police reviewed the security footage and the victim identified both Haley and her vehicle in the video. Police also reviewed security footage which showed the same suspect damaging another vehicle. (21-003507) It is believed both white 2016 Jeep Cherokees were targeted by Haley because she was unsure of which on belonged to her boyfriend. Warrants are being sought on Haley for vandalism.
21-003521- 1407 Prater Road- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a black male walking through the neighborhood taking pictures. On arrival police checked the area but the male had already left.

Night Shift
1417 St Thomas St (Arrest 21-003534):
Jereme Billups was taken into custody for driving without a license and possession of cocaine. John Reed was detained on warrants out of Georgia for dangerous drugs. Both were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4139 East Ridge Dr (Animal Call 21-003539):
Police made multiple trips to this address throughout the evening concerning an aggressive barking dog. The resident does not like law enforcement and refused to silence the dog or take it in. A referral to animal control was made.
5347 Haisten Ct (Suspicious Vehicle 21-003541):
The reporting party stated there was a red convertible occupied by two males pulling into the area staying for a few minutes and leaving. They stated it had occurred multiple times. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
931 Hurst St (AOA Warrant 21-003549):
Rocky McCabe was detained and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on Red Bank warrants. He was located asleep in a van near the back of Red Wolves Stadium.
1503 McDonald Rd (Disorder 21-003554):
Police responded to the Waverly for a disorder between management and a renter. The renter was leaving as police arrived.
4100 Ringgold Rd (Assist Other Agency 21-003556):
THP was in pursuit of a vehicle fleeing from a traffic stop in Chattanooga. A lone THP vehicle was attempting to halt the suspect as he fled through East Ridge. An East Ridge patrol vehicle trailed the trooper back into Chattanooga where the vehicle stopped after making contact with spike strips deployed on Westside Dr by THP. The driver was captured after a brief foot pursuit. Reports on file.
6674 Ringgold Rd (AOA Warrant 21-003561):
Jacques Taylor was located at the OYO motel by police. He was known to have outstanding felony warrants through Hamilton County. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for booking.
