Day Shift March 5
25-002328- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – A man was served at this location on County Warrants for Vandalism and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
25-002329 – 1300 BLK Sewanee Drive – Suspicious Activity – The resident at this location called to report a homeless encampment across the creek behind her residence. Police determined the encampment formerly belonged to a woman from approximately a year ago. The resident advised she had not observed any activity at the camp in the last year. ERPD will continue to monitor the area for any vagrant activity.
25-002337 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Hitchhiker/Field Interview – Police and THP encountered a man as he was standing on the southbound off ramp of I-75 at Ringgold Road with a sign asking for “Help.” As officers attempted to speak with him, he presented an agitated and aggressive attitude towards them. The subject was advised that hitchhiking/panhandling was not permitted, and he would need to relocate to another area. After being advised of this, the subject continued in his agitated demeanor before finally leaving the area.
25-002340- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service – A man was served on an East Ridge Warrant at the Hamilton County Jail for Passing Worthless Checks.
Night Shift March 5
25-002343 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served an East Ridge warrant for motor vehicle theft, felony evading, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license.
25-002348 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Domestic Disorder – A woman wanted to report a disorder with her boyfriend. She stated that the man told her that he was taking her gun. Officers located the firearm in the center console, where she stated she last remembered it being. Both parties stated it was only verbal and agreed to separate for the night.
25-002349 – 3300 BLK Gleason Drive – Disorder with a Weapon – A man reported to 911 dispatch that his wife had pulled a loaded weapon on him. Both parties told police the gun was never brandished, and the exchange was only verbal. The incident was re-categorized as a domestic disorder without criminal charges.
