Day Shift March 4
25-002272 – 1800 BLK Prigmore Road – Deceptive Practice – The reporting party sated an unknown suspect took out a loan in his name. Pending identification of the suspect, warrants for Theft of Property and Identity Theft will be sought.
25-002290 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a woman was found to have a warrant out of Collegedale and was subsequently transported to jail.
25-002274 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Property – An employee at the hotel found a loaded rifle magazine on the ground near the dumpster. The magazine contained 27 rounds of .300 Blackout ammunition. The magazine and ammo were turned into ERPD Property and Evidence for safekeeping.
25-002276 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Assist Animal Service – Police were called to this residence to assist an ERAS Officer with the issuance of citations to a woman who on multiple occasions had failed to keep her dogs on her property.
25-002287 – 100 Interstate 75 NB – Crash w/ Injuries – Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer, pickup truck and van. One driver was transported for treatment.
25-002266-4338 Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Person – Police spoke with a man sleeping inside his vehicle in the parking lot. He advised his girlfriend, and he got into an argument the night prior and he left. He also stated he had a marijuana pipe in his vehicle. He consented to a search of his vehicle where a marijuana pipe was found. Police seized the pipe and placed it into property and evidence. The man was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
25-002267-4100 BLK Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Person – Police spoke with a man sleeping inside his vehicle in the parking lot. The man was identified and advised he was travelling from Florida in hopes to find a job in East Ridge. The party stated he was down on his luck and hoping for a fresh start. Police asked why he was sleeping at the location, and he responded that he had ran out of gas. The officer offered to pay for the party’s fuel. He was checked for warrants and provided with gas to go along his way.
25-002291-1500 BLK Tombras Ave- Disorder – Police were dispatched to the dog park on reports of juveniles harassing dogs and their owners. The juveniles were antagonizing the dogs and threatening the owners so that if they got bitten, they would take legal action. The juveniles were asked to leave.
25-002275 – 100 BLK Hilldale Drive – Alarm Burglar – Police found an open door at the incident location, cleared the home, and found no intruders. They made sure all doors were secured.
Night Shift March 4
Throughout the shift, Patrol worked with ERFD, the Streets Department, and EPB to resolve several road hazards, fallen power lines, and fallen trees. Road Closures due to flooding and down trees: – 6500 Slater Road – Flooding: marked with road barriers – 2200 Cemetery Road – Tree in the roadway with a down power line: marked with road barriers and cones – 6100 N Mack Smith Road – Water main break: marked with road closed sign.
25-002316 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with an Alias Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the capias was Driving on a Revoked License.
25-002315 – 65 Ringgold Road, Rm 111 – Disorder / Warrant Service – Police responded to a disorder at the motel and located five individuals arguing over a blue Jeep Liberty. A member of the group was found to have a Petition to Revoke warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge was Simple Possession. The party was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-002314 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the report of a disorder involving two adult males. On scene, police located no disorder and no unusual activity. Upon further investigation, officers found that a female customer called in the complaint because she felt the two males were talking too loudly, and they made her uncomfortable. The female agreed to leave the business.
25-002296 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Hold for Warrant Service – Deputies with the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office located a man and took him into custody for an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. He was transported to the Catoosa County Jail and a hold was placed. The original charge on the warrant was Simple Assault.
