Day Shift March 21
25-002984 – 3600 BLK Phelps Street – Domestic Disorder – A family member told police her daughter was being held hostage by a girlfriend. Officers made contact with a female who identified herself as the daughter and said the two parties had been arguing at the gas station. Officers then relocated to the two parties and found no evidence corroborating a kidnapping. A disorder prevention was conducted while the woman moved her belongings out of the house.
25-002981 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded to the bank on a reported theft. The victim has been in a medical facility receiving care since early January. His caregivers discovered his bank account was fraudulently used, and his funds were depleted.
25-002991 – 1300 BLK Swope Drive – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the woods off Swope for a suspicious person. Police encountered a man who was “just hanging” out in the area. He was checked for warrants and advised that urban camping is not permitted and to vacate the area.
25-002979 – 1000 BLK John Ross Road – Domestic assault – Police spoke with the complainant and victim who stated her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her at approximately 1100 hours. She stated she was grabbed by her hair and neck which left a visible mark on her neck. Warrants are being sought for Domestic Assault.
25-002979 – 5800 BLK Welworth Avenue- Domestic Assault – A woman informed police of her boyfriend assaulting her on 03/20. She stated she was driving south on Graston Avenue when the couple had a verbal altercation. The suspect then struck her with an open hand and a closed fist around her eye. She had a black eye at the time of taking her report. Warrants were taken out and were executed the same day.
25-002980- 6900 BLK Glen Errol Way- Burglary – Police responded to this address on reports of a burglary. The officer spoke with the resident who advised someone had broken into her garage and stole her Nike Air Jordan’s. She stated she also noticed some body fragrance sprays were taken. She believed the suspect to be her ex-boyfriend. CID was notified and arrived on scene. Warrants are pending further investigation.
Night Shift March 21
25-003010 – 1500 BLK Keeble Street – Burglary in Progress – The resident reported seeing part of a man’s hand come through the dog door in her kitchen. She did not see a face and no other part of the suspect entered the home. Police responded to the residence but did not locate the suspect or any signs of forced entry.
25-003014 – 1100 BLK McBrien Road– Back EMS – Police stood by while EMS treated an adult who had consumed too much alcohol and could not control her basic movements. The patient was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
25-003016 – 700 BLK S Seminole Drive – Assist Other Agency – While assisting CPD with a crash investigation, ERPD units observed a male walk out of the eastbound Bachman Tunnel. Police caught up to the individual on S Seminole Drive and conducted a consensual encounter. The male was identified and found to have two arrest warrants through Catoosa County. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift March 22: A Team
25-003039 – Bennett Road/Frederick Drive – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a party was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on a warrant out of Sessions Court.
25-003022- 317 Camp Jordan Pkwy- Narcotics Violation – Police responded to the Camp Jordan Ball Fields on reports of a woman who had a seizure and hit her head. Officers observed the woman on the ground and bleeding from her face. EMS responded to the scene and transported her to the hospital. A bystander handed police her Nike backpack and the officer observed, in plain view, narcotics. A search of the bag located two syringes, a clear bag filled with crystal-like substance and a glass pipe, located in a sunglass container. Police seized the bag and upon further investigation discovered one of the syringes filled with 2.5ML of a clear substance and 0.9GM of meth. After the woman was discharged from the hospital, police took her into custody and transported her to Hamilton County Jail. She was charged with Possession of Meth and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Night Shift March 22: C Team
25-003043 – 500 BLK Benson Drive – Auto Theft – An individual reported that a known female had stolen his 2014 Kia Optima along with $800 in cash. He stated she stayed at his house on March 21 and left early the following morning. The victim then left his home and later came back to find his car and the money was missing. Warrants are pending additional evidence to confirm the suspect’s identity.
25-003045 – 5500 BLK Ringgold – Well-Being Check – Employees contacted Police over concerns for a homeless man found near the business. Officers spoke with him regarding his situation. The party was given a courtesy ride to the Chattanooga Rescue Mission.
25-003046 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Disorder – Police responded to multiple reports of automobiles and motorcycles speeding in the parking lot of the business. Officers found approximately 100 people walking around sports cars, customized vehicles, and motorcycles. Police broke up the unauthorized party and dispersed the crowd. The business’ management also confirmed that no large groups or gatherings were authorized in their parking lot.
25-003048 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Following a Disorder in Chattanooga, a woman was arrested by CPD for an Alias Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. ERPD Officers took custody of her and transported her to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The original charge for the Capias was Theft Over $1000.
25-003053 – 1400 BLK Prater Road – Disorder / Arrest – Police responded to a disorder and found a party standing outside the residence. Officers determined that the man was visiting friends when he became very intoxicated and belligerent. As a result, he was asked to leave the home. He refused to call an Uber or cooperate in finding a place to stay for the evening. The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
25-003054 – 4000 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a party was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Driving Without a License, and Failure to Maintain Lane.
25-003058 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – Police observed a white Dodge Challenger sitting at a traffic light intersection for an extended period. The officer approached the vehicle and found a man sleeping in the driver’s seat. Upon further investigation, police found him to be intoxicated, and he was arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.
Day Shift March 23
25-003060 – 1200 BLK Blocker Lane – Suspicious Activity – Police were informed of a possible burglary in progress at Brainerd Baptist Church, and three male subjects were seen in the area. Upon arrival, police observed three males with skateboards and scooters in front of the church. Two of the three subjects were juveniles, and one male was an adult. The parties were detained for further investigation because of a window found open on the backside of the church. Police cleared the area and found no one else in the area. Video footage showed the parties not entering the building at any time. All male subjects were let go and advised to go back to their residences.
25-003062 – 400 BLK Garcia Ln – Auto Theft – A woman reported her 2017 silver Hyundai Elantra was stolen from her residence overnight. At this time there were no suspects, and the vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.
Night Shift March 23
25-003082 – 1000 BLK McBrien Road – Domestic Assault / Arrest – Police responded to a 911 hang-up at this residence. Officers determined that a man assaulted his ex-girlfriend inside the home. Police also found that he had denied her the use of her phone and attempted to keep her confined to a bathroom. The suspect was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault, Interference with a 911 Call and False Imprisonment.
25-003084 – I-24 Westbound – Assist Other Agency – ERPD units responded to a crash with injuries on Westbound I-24. ERPD determined the crash occurred in Chattanooga and Chattanooga PD responded to the location. ERPD units remained on scene to assist the Chattanooga PD units with traffic control and information requirements.
25-003085 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with four Forfeiture Capias warrants from the City of East Ridge. The original charges for the capias warrants were Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of MDMA for Resale, Possession of Cocaine for Resale, and Possession of Marijuana for Resale.
25-003089 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a party was served with a Forfeiture Capias from the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the capias warrant was Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
25-003090 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police located a male running in the 6000 block of Ringgold Road and conducted a consensual encounter. The male was identified and a check through Dispatch revealed he was a violent registered sex offender. Police also found that he was recently released from the Georgia Department of Corrections.
25-003094 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist EMS – A concerned citizen flagged down Police and reported an elderly male fell while he was walking. Police checked the patient and found he was experiencing an altered mental state. The officer provided immediate medical support until Hamilton County EMS arrived on scene.
Day Shift March 24
25-003099- 1500 BLK Springvale- Suspicious Person/ Arrest – A man was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication as he was going through multiple houses’ backyards and was found at this address on the front porch. He also appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic.
25-002956- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Follow-up/ Warrants – A follow-up was conducted regarding this case. During the follow-up it was discovered that the suspect had also threatened the manager who did feel that his threats were valid at the time. The suspect will have two warrants sought against him for Vandalism and Assault. The restaurant has requested a frequent patrol to be conducted until the subject is served on these warrants as after this incident he showed back up to the restaurant and has been calling establishment.
25-003107 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Rolling Disorder – The caller reported being followed by a gray Chevy Silverado following an incident that occurred in Chattanooga’s jurisdiction. According to the complainant, she had attempted to pass the vehicle while it was stopped in traffic in Chattanooga and the other driver responded by following her into East Ridge. Police contacted the parties after the complainant called police and were instructed to stop in the parking lot of the park. Officers spoke with both drivers and advised them of the possible consequences and dangers of following drivers during rolling disorders. Both parties were released and sent on their way.
Night Shift March 24
25-003121 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road– Disorder – A man was issued a criminal trespass warning at the request of management after he created a disorder by cursing and yelling at other patrons. The man stated he understood he would be arrested for criminal trespassing if he returned.
25-003124- 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Domestic Disorder/Arrest – The caller stated her child’s father had punched her in the chest and fled the scene. Police had spoken with the woman several times prior, and she made the same allegations. Police conducted a records check of her ID and found she had two valid arrest warrants through East Ridge for false reports. She later admitted to police she was making this alleged assault up as well. She was charged with another false report charge.
25-003125 – 800 BLK S Germantown Road – Property – A resident discovered a briefcase with personal belongings inside on the ground beside his mailbox. The briefcase was inventoried and placed in the property room for safekeeping to be released to the owner.
25-003126 – 5300 BLK Bennett Rd– Domestic Assault – A woman stated her ex-boyfriend kicked in her bathroom door when she was inside. She further alleged that she was in fear for her life. She was unable to provide any information about the male other than his first name. She was able to show officers a picture of the male and he had tattoos over his brows. Using the pictures officers were able to determine his identity.
