Day Shift March 14
25-002665- 6800 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person – Police were dispatched to an individual who had entered a business, was instructed to leave, and had to be removed by the reporting party. Officers met with the party and instructed him that if he was asked to leave a business he should comply with that request.
25-002692 – 601 Justice Way – Arrest Warrant – East Ridge Police received notification from dispatch that a subject in custody at Hamilton County had active East Ridge warrants for Petition to Revoke on Possession of Controlled Substance. Appropriate paperwork was faxed to the Hamilton Co Jail to serve the listed warrant. Arrest # 25-0280.
25-002697 – 4400 BLK Lanoir Cir – Theft – Officers responded to this location in reference to a reported theft. The resident said that his children’s basketball goal had been in the front yard until approximately 15:30 today, at which point he discovered it was missing. He described the basketball goal as having a black post, a clear backboard, and a double orange hoop without a net. There are no known witnesses or available video evidence of the theft.
Night Shift March 14
25-002521 – 3600 BLK Shirl Jo Lane – Domestic Disorder – Police were dispatched to the above address for a disorder. Both parties stated they were dating and had gotten into an argument. Additionally, both parties provided different stories regarding the argument. Police observed a small cut on one subject’s hand and a small cut on the other’s hand. Both parties denied a physical altercation took place. Police were unable to determine a primary aggressor. Both parties agreed to separate for the remainder of the night.
25-002699 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Unconscious Person – A woman was found unconscious in the women’s restroom. EMS transported her where she was treated for a suspected fentanyl overdose. The narcotics and drug paraphernalia recovered from the party was seized for destruction.
25-002703 – 1200 BLK Poplar Street – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody on a valid East Ridge warrant for Alias Capias with the original charge of Disorderly Conduct. She was transported by Chattanooga Police Department to the Hamilton County Jail where she was served the warrant.
25-002719- 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd.-Disorder – Police responded to the hospital for a disorderly patient in the ER. The caller stated the patient was screaming at staff and he was no longer receiving care and needed to leave. When the police arrived, they contacted the patient who was outside and visibly upset. It was found he had valid arrest warrants through Hamilton County. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Day Shift March 15
No Case Number – S. Seminole Rd – Flooding – Due to the excessive rain coming in, S. Seminole flooded on the street which caused dangerous road conditions.
No Case Number – John Ross Rd – Flooding – This roadway also flooded and was monitored by patrol throughout the shift.
Night Shift March 15
25-002758- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- MVC Unknown Injuries/DUI Arrest – Reporting parties informed authorities that a single vehicle had collided with an embankment, struck a telephone pole, and rolled over onto its roof. When the police arrived at the scene, the driver fled behind a building. A brief foot chase ensued, and the suspect was taken into custody. He was medically cleared at the scene and then transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The suspect was charged with driving under the influence, evading arrest, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, violating due care laws, and driving without a valid driver’s license.
25-002753 – 1300 BLK San His Drive – Residential Fire – Police and fire department personnel responded to a possible residential fire after a resident reported seeing smoke via her home security camera.
Day Shift March 16
25-002769- Ringgold Road/Camp Jordon Parkway-Shots Fired – A Chattanooga Police officer informed East Ridge units that they had heard approximately 15 shots while at the Ringgold Road and Camp Jordon intersection, Police checked the area of Camp Jordon and surrounding subdivisions, no signs of shots being fired were located.
Night Shift March 16:
25-002792 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A party was served an Alias Capias arrest warrant while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge was for driving on revoked, suspended, or canceled license.
25-002795- 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd- SIA/Narcotics arrest – A woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
25-002790- 5300 BLK Ringgold Road-MVC Injuries/DUI Arrest – Police responded to this location and found two vehicles in a head-on collision. A woman was found slumped over the steering wheel and was given Narcan to counteract opiates. She was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
25-002783 – 6800 BLK Martha Avenue – Domestic Disorder – Two brothers were arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault after they strangled one another during a family gathering. Amidst the fighting, three additional family members sustained minor injuries, including an elderly woman whose hand was shut in a door. One suspect was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after police discovered several plastic straws and foil with suspected drug residue in his pocket.
25-002796 – 10 BLK Edwards Terrace – Suspicious Activity – East Ridge Police accompanied Red Bank Police for an incident involving an assault that was reported to have occurred in their jurisdiction earlier today. The investigation is ongoing.
25-002789- 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd.-Theft – Police responded to the listed address regarding a theft from 03/13/2025. Upon police arrival they met with the store owner who stated on the above date a female came into the store with $1,900 in 100-dollar bills and requested change in 20-dollar bills. A female employee then grabbed a large stack of 20’s and began counting them out. The suspect female then grabbed the bills, concealed approximately $740 and gave the rest back. The female then requested her $1,900 back. The female employee did not realize what the suspect had done, and the suspect left the store.
25-002769- 700 BLK Germantown Circle- Unconscious – Officers received a call regarding a male who was found unconscious in his apartment. A party was found by his wife in the bathroom not breathing. She started CPR prior to police arrival. He was breathing but not coherent, so officers placed him in the rescue position to help with his respiration. Fire and Ems arrived, treated and transported the party.
Day Shift March 17
No case number- 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Suspicious Person – Police spoke with a man who was sleeping outside the business. The owners advised they had no issue with him sleeping outside of their business and allowed him to stay. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
25-002828- 5800 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Suspicious Person – Police were dispatched on reports of a homeless person needing to be trespassed. Officers spoke with the woman who advised she was sitting outside the business. Police spoke with the owner who complained that she had been there all day, and her dog was barking at customers. The owner further stated he didn’t want to confront her due to the animal. She was issued a trespass warning and sent on her way.
25-002823- 1400 BLK N Smith St.- Delayed Domestic Assault – Police spoke a woman who reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her at the hotel on 3/16/2025. She alleged that stated he had choked her twice and dragged her by her wrist. She provided police with images of bruising around her neck and nail marks on her arm. Charges pending further investigation.
25-002801 – 3700 BLK Fountain Ave – Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple violations. The passenger was arrested on multiple warrants out of Catoosa County.
25-002822 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop/ Arrest – Police conducted a stop of a vehicle for multiple violations. The passenger had multiple warrants out of East Ridge and Collegedale.
25-002821 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Activity – Police were alerted to a male wearing a brim hat approaching females in the park and talking nonsensically. Officers located an individual matching the description dispatched. The man identified himself as a resident of East Ridge. He discussed needing to contact the president to defeat the people in charge of the climate change that has been affecting our weather as of late. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
25-002813 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Well Being Check/Warrant service – A party was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation.
Night Shift March 17
25-002836 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Rd – Public Intoxication / Arrest – Police observed a man struggling to walk as he crossed an intersection of Ringgold Road. It was found that he was intoxicated and did not know his current location. Due to safety concerns, he was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
25-002846 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – A patrolling officer observed a SUV failing to maintain its lane and initiated a traffic stop. During the stop, Police found that the driver was intoxicated and in possession of open alcoholic beverage containers. He was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container Law.
25-002848 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service Hold – Catoosa County Deputies arrested a man after he was found to have an active warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the warrant was Public Intoxication and a hold was sent to the Catoosa County Jail.
