Day Shift March 7
25-002406 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Shots Fired – Police were called to the inn on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival police spoke with a guest who was in her vehicle when she heard 4-5 shots ring out and saw an arm extended from the rear driver’s side windows of a black Infiniti sedan. The vehicle had been seen driving north on the inn’s driveway before it turned East onto Ringgold Road. Police recovered 11 spent 9mm shell casings from the driveway. The building appeared to have been struck 3 times causing damage to an exterior window. No injuries were reported.
25-002399 – Bacon Trail – Unconscious Person – Police observed a female slumped inside of her vehicle and appeared to be unconscious. Officers were able to wake the female and asked her to step out of the vehicle. She gave the police consent to search the vehicle, and they found drug paraphernalia on the driver’s seat. She was not charged for the drug paraphernalia and was released from the scene. The drug paraphernalia was placed into property and evidence for destruction.
25-002409-4214 Ringgold Rd- Harassment – ERPD spoke with a party who stated she was being harassed by a woman at her previous job. She advised the woman had gotten her fired and continued to harass her to her new job in Red Bank. Police asked for the identity of the women who was harassing her, but she was only able to provide a nickname of a celebrity, and further alleged it was the online celebrity who was harassing her. She was informed she would have to follow-up with Red Bank police if the harassment continued.
Night Shift February 28
25-002418 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive– Psychiatric Emergency / Assault on Police – Police responded to this address for a well-being check after a man released a video with him consuming several pills. While police were enroute, he contacted the Hamilton County Dispatch stating he had an axe and would “Suicide by Cop” if police came to his door. Police made verbal contact with him through the door of his apartment, but he refused to come out. He then briefly opened the door to taunt police. Officers responded by entering the doorway and placing him in protective custody. While handcuffed, the man was non-compliant and intentionally kicked one of the officers. He was taken to a local hospital and admitted for a psychiatric evaluation. An arrest warrant will be sought for Assault on a Police Officer.
25-002414 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting / Arrest – Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the store. Employees provided police with a video of a female walking out the back door of the store. The female had several items in a basket and left the store without paying for them. Later in the shift, the suspect was located and identified.
25-002420 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person / Assist Other Agency – Police observed a female on Ringgold Road who matched the description of a shoplifting suspect. She was identified and found to have two active warrants through Hamilton County. The warrants were for Failure to Appear and Theft of Property. The woman was taken into custody, charged with Shoplifting for the original incident, and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
25-002415 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse Street – Fight – East Ridge police officers and Catoosa County deputies responded to a fight involving several juveniles at the corner of Stateline Road and Waterhouse Street. Police spoke with five juveniles who provided inconsistent information and conflicting accounts of the incident. Upon further investigation, Police determined the juveniles met at the location with the intention of fighting. No signs of injury were observed, and no charges are being sought for the incident.
25-002429 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at the restaurant involving three adult females. Officers spoke with the three parties. Two stated the third started pushing them in the parking lot and initiated a fight. That party stated the other two jumped her in the parking lot, and she fought back. Police could not determine a primary aggressor due to conflicting information. The reporting officer will work to obtain surveillance video of the incident and warrants are pending further investigation.
25-002427 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Arrest – Police responded to the same restaurant regarding multiple individuals fighting. Officers determined that two men fought in the parking lot and a primary aggressor could not be determined. The incident stemmed from a mutual female acquaintance. One was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of a Firearm while Intoxicated. The other was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly conduct.
25-002423 – I-75 Northbound – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police observed a white Dodge Challenger traveling at a high rate of speed on the interstate. ERPD conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and found the driver was intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving.
25-002417 – 3400 BLK Missionaire Avenue – Suspicious Activity – East Ridge Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Missionaire Avenue and State Line Road. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office received similar reports of shots fired in the same area. Law Enforcement Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the source of the incident.
Day Shift March 8
25-002433- 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd.-Assault – Police responded to the hospital on reports of an assault. Upon arrival, police spoke with a woman who advised she was kicked and shoved by a known male suspect. The reporting party works at the hospital as a security guard. The suspect was discharged from the hospital and taken into custody.
25-002431-5300 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Hold up Alarm – Police responded to the bank on reports of a hold up alarm being activated. Upon arrival, police were met by two employees who advised they had just locked up and the alarm went off. Officers cleared the business and found no signs of distress.
24-002443 – 10 BLK Arnold Drive – Theft – Police spoke with the complainant who stated she had video footage of suspicious parties visiting her house and attempting to steal items out of her garage. One male attempted to steal an air compressor and push mower but was startled by a neighbor. He was last seen leaving in a black Jeep SUV. The other male was seen in a possible white or silver GMC Acadia or Chevrolet Traverse. Suspects have not been positively identified at this time.
Night Shift March 8
25-002462 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity / Assist Other Agency – Patrol Officers assisted the ERPD Crime Suppression Unit and K9 Unit with an on-going investigation into illegal activities at the motel. During the investigation, police approached a man and found he had three active warrants out of Hamilton County. Officers also located a second man and found he had a total of six arrest warrants through the City of Collegedale and Hamilton County. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
25-002465 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – During a narcotics investigation, police observed a woman operating a vehicle behind the motel. While speaking with her, the officer determined she had a revoked driver’s license. She was arrested for Driving on a Revoked License and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-002463- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Overdose – A man approached police officers at the motel and stated he was experiencing a possible overdose. He stated he consumed a white powdery substance he thought was cocaine while on 23rd Street in Chattanooga. The party further stated he was had a bad reaction to the substance and believed it contained fentanyl. The man was transported to the hospital by EMS for an evaluation and treatment.
25-002452 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody at the East Ridge Police Department after she was found to have five Forfeiture Capias warrants. The original charges were Assault on Police, Resisting Stop, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, and Public Indecency. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-002456 – 600 BLK Maple Lane – Suspicious Activity – Police observed a white Ford Fusion make an abrupt turn onto Maple Lane from South Germantown Road. The vehicle quickly parked in a driveway and the driver ran behind a neighboring house. Upon further investigation, police determined the name of the driver, and his license was revoked for DUI. The owner of the vehicle responded to location and recovered her vehicle. An arrest warrant is pending.
Day Shift March 9
25-002478 – 5700 Roper Street Apartment O15 – Domestic Assault – A man called police after his girlfriend struck him in the face with a closed fist numerous times before leaving the scene. He had visible injuries to his face. A warrant for Domestic Assault will be sought.
Night Shift March 9
25-002485 – 800 BLK Darryl Lane – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, police found the two occupants of the vehicle had warrants through Hamilton County. Both men were placed into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. At the start of the traffic stop, the driver parked his vehicle at a residence in which he had no association. As a result, the vehicle was towed by the district wrecker service.
Day Shift March 10
25-002505 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Citizen Assist – A man spoke to police at the above address asking if he could attend his child’s birthday party since he was the subject of a temporary protective order. He was advised to follow the TPO, or he would be arrested for violation. Officers also contacted the protected party, and she was advised if she reached out to him through direct or indirect sources again, she would be arrested for violation of TPO. Both parties understood and agreed to follow the orders.
Night Shift March 10
25-002512 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – A woman lost her debit card while shopping, and the card was recovered by an unknown female wearing a pink hairnet/haircap. According to bank records, the stolen card was used to purchase $26 of merchandise at the same store and $10 was spent at another business. Patrol is investigating to identify the suspect.
25-002521 – 3600 BLK Cherokee Avenue – Unknown Trouble / Domestic Disorder – Police responded to an unknown trouble at the above address. The call-taker could hear screaming and what sounded like fighting. Additionally, the reporting party was not responding to the call-taker. When police arrived on the scene, officers heard yelling and banging from several houses down from the residence. As the officers approached the home, a man exited the garage. Officers detained him and cleared the garage for the other parties involved. Officers did not locate anyone else in the garage but observed a male and female inside the home. They were also detained. It was found the three were involved in a loud disorder regarding relationships but no physical violence had occurred. A miscellaneous report was completed to document the incident.
25-002523 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – A man was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he was observed driving on the wrong side of the road. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
