Day Shift January 23: Bravo Squad
25-000830 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd- Alarm – Police responded to an interior door intrusion alarm. The business appeared secure. This was the 5th time since 1/19/2025 responding to this same alarm.
25-000837 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Follow Up for Alarm – Police contacted an employee to gather updated information for the party responsible for the business. She provided the manager’s information. She advised the business had opened a request to the alarm company to check the malfunction.
25-000838 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Child Locked in Car – Police and fire responded to this location and found a child locked inside a vehicle. ERFD unlocked the vehicle for the parent; the child was unharmed.
25-000847 – I75 NB Exit 1 – Property Damage – The complainant reported to Police that a white Semi truck was tailgating him, and then proceeded to throw what he believed was a pipe at his vehicle, cracking the windshield. Report on file.
Night Shift January 23: Delta Squad
25-000852 – 1500 BLK Maxwell Road – Theft – The victim reported her mail containing a personal check was stolen, modified (washed), and forged when she mailed it using the outdoor post office box at the East Ridge Post Office. The victim’s bank fraud detection department canceled the check.
25-000864 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle/SIA – Officers noticed a vehicle idling for approximately 1 hour with its lights off. Officers approached the car and spoke with the driver. As officers approached, he raised his hands in the air. Officers asked if he had any weapons on him and he stated one in an appendix holster. The man consented to officers removing it for the time being. Officers ran the serial number; it returned as stolen from Red Bank. He claimed he bought the gun from someone around 11 months ago and provided the party’s information. The man was taken into custody and charged with possession of stolen property. He was taken to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-000866 – 700 BLK Frawley Road– Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at the above address. The reporting party stated her mother’s ex-boyfriend had arrived intoxicated and refused to leave. He had left before the police arrived. Police spoke with the party via telephone and trespassed him at the request of the reporting party’s mother.
25-000867 – 5000 BLK Newport Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the area after a homeowner’s German shepherd dog chased after a prowler when the man was checking door handles. Police checked the area but were unable to locate any suspect.
