Day Shift February 4
25-001256 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice – Police spoke with the owner who stated his daughters had received a phone call today from an unknown individual who stated they needed to pay to receive their business license. The daughters both left the business and were told to transfer $460. The daughters went to a third party business and deposited the money. At this time, no suspect has been positively identified.
25-001163- 1517 Tombras Ave- Warrant Service – A woman was served with two outstanding East Ridge warrants at this address. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County jail without incident.
25-001254 – 3700 BLK Fountain Ave – Domestic Assault (Unconfirmed) – On Tuesday police were dispatched on a domestic assault. After arriving, they spoke to the complainant who was standing next to her vehicle waiting on the police. She stated her husband had woken her up earlier in the day by grabbing the air mattress she was on and turning it over. He yelled at her and cursed. She also stated he grabbed her by the face. The husband stated the woman sleeps all day and then leaves for long periods of time with their only car. He further stated she is verbally abusive and calls police for ridiculous reasons. Although the allegation of an assault was made, the officer did not see any marks on her face to support the claim. The look in the apartment also did not show any evidence of disorder.
Night Shift February 4
24-000131 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The charge on the warrant was Simple Assault.
25-001269 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with a Forfeiture Capias through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the capias was Driving on a Suspended License.
25-001268 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation – Following a traffic stop, police located suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia with the vehicle driver. Arrest warrants are pending further investigation.
25-001271 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for an arrest warrant through Catoosa County, GA. The warrant was for a Probation Violation with an original charge of Possession of Methamphetamine. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-001272 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for an arrest warrant through Catoosa County, GA. The warrant was for a Probation Violation with an original charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-001276 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with a Probation Capias through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the capias was Evading Arrest.
