Day Shift February 18
25-001767 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Staff advised a male was loitering in the lobby and refused to leave when asked to do so. The man was cooperative with police and was given a courtesy ride to Chattanooga.
1400 BLK Mana Lane- Warrant Service – A woman was served an outstanding warrant through East Ridge for child abuse. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
Night Shift February 18
25-001790 – 1400 BLK N Mack Smith Road – Suspicious Activity / K9 Apprehension / Arrest – Police responded to a Suspicious Activity complaint at the inn. Upon further investigation, officers determined two males exited a white truck and entered the former East Ridge Retirement Center property through a gap in the construction fence. Police found the suspects had also entered the property on the previous night. Units set up a perimeter around the area and the ERPD K9 unit conducted a building search. On the second floor, the K9 unit located the suspects hiding in two separate locations. At each location, K9 Quest apprehended the suspects. Police also located burglary tools, a battery powered saw, and cut pieces of copper tubing near the suspects. After medical treatment, both suspects were transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with two counts of Burglary, two counts of Theft, Possession of Burglary Tools, Evading Arrest, and Vandalism.
25-001786 – 400 BLK S Seminole Drive – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation / Arrest – A Crime Suppression investigator conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle that failed to maintain proper lane. The ERPD K9 unit and two patrol units responded to the location as back-up. K9 Quest alerted the presence of narcotics, but a search of the vehicle yielded no contraband. A passenger in the vehicle was found to have multiple warrants through Hamilton County. After she was transported to the Hamilton County Jail, she was found to have 1.09 grams of methamphetamine hidden on her person. The suspect was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Impersonation.
25-001794 – 3300 BLK Frawley Street – Vandalism – Police responded to a vandalism complaint involving a motor vehicle. The victim reported a light color sedan stopped in front of her residence before the driver threw a brick into the windshield of her vehicle. The suspect then left the scene and turned north on South Germantown Road. Police checked the area and did not locate the vehicle.
