Day Shift April 3
25-003490 – 1300 BLK Boyd Street – Disorder – The caller reported she was at her residence when the landlord entered the property without providing the required 24-hour notice. The party removed a table he had previously given to the tenants after they declined to pay him $50 for it. The tenants were advised to contact the police if he attempted to enter the property again without proper notice. While on the scene, he also informed the tenants that they had 24 hours to vacate the premises. Officers advised the tenants that this was not a lawful eviction. Code enforcement has been made aware of the situation and is addressing any relevant violations related to the property with the landlord.
25-003497 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was served a Forfeiture Capias for Driving on Suspended Driver’s License while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-003498-4100 BLK Ringgold Road-Theft – Police responded regarding a delayed theft. Asset Protection reported an unidentified female was observed on security footage stealing six cans of baby formula valued at two hundred and fifteen dollars. A warrant for theft of property will be sought upon identification of the suspect, report on file.
25-003502 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Suspicious Person – A concerned citizen requested police check on a party sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the church. Officers spoke with a local homeless party who was awakening from his mid-afternoon slumber. He was advised to move along after police inquired about his well-being.
25-003504 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft- The manager reported on 04/01, three male subjects attempted to purchase multiple cases of beer using various credit cards they had stored on their cell phones. The manager stated the subjects were only successful in purchasing the contents of one of the two loaded shopping carts they had brought to the register but left with the second cart that they did not pay for. According to the manager, the night shift employee did not discover this until they exited the store. The reporting party also advised the subjects had used credit cards to purchase beer at two other stores in the area.

25-003514/ 25-003520 – East Ridge Ave/ Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop/ DUI Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a woman was arrested for DUI-Drugs, Child endangerment, Simple Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute.
25-003512 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Arrest – A man was arrested for DUI and Open Container Law after he was observed at the drive through operating his friend’s blue 2015 Ford F-150 pickup truck while in possession of an open half gallon of Canadian whiskey and a whiskey glass. The passenger, who was the registered owner of the truck, was arrested for DUI By Consent for knowingly allowing an intoxicated driver to operate his vehicle.
25-003515 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Noise Complaint – The resident of a nearby apartment complex reported two cars racing their engines in the parking lot creating excessive noise after midnight. Police searched the parking lot, but both the white sedan and the dark Dodge Charger were gone.
