East Ridge downed Bledsoe County, 3-1, Thursday in a girls’ high school soccer match, picking up its first win of the young season.
After a scoreless first half, Ana Stanford, Kendall Dickson and Naida Hernandez all had goals for East Ridge (1-1-1). Kolbie Record and Yessica Velasquez were each credited with an assist.
East Ridge will host Red Bank next Thursday in its first district game of the year. Game time is 7 p.m. at Camp Jordan Park.
