Lady Pioneers Continue Winning Ways in Girls’ Soccer

East Ridge’s girls’ soccer team continues undefeated on the season with a 5-0 District 8/AA win over Howard, Thursday at Camp Jordan.

Lucy Lopez Mazariego led the way for the Lady Pioneers (3-0, 1-0) scoring a pair of goals. Ana Stanford, Naida Xiloi Hernandez and Helen Sales had one goal apiece.

Friday Jacobo had two assists. Rebeca Mendez, Sales and goalkeeper Sarah Hudgens were also credited with an assist. Hudgens also recorded two saves.

East Ridge outshot Howard by 16 to 2.
