Day Shift June 4
24-007177- 300 BLK Camp Jorden Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a homeless male sleeping on a picnic table. Police spoke with the male and asked him to move along.
24-007194- 800 BLK Belvoir Hills Drive- Found Property- The caller advised he found a 9mm handgun while cleaning the vacant residence. Officers attempted to contact the owner but were unsuccessful. The firearm was collected and put in property.
Night Shift June 4
24-007202 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-drugs – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a suspended registration. Following a probable cause search of the vehicle, a woman was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of fentanyl for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-007204 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft – A man called and reported his 2017 Dodge Ram stolen from this location.
24-007205 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Back EMS – Police responded to a party sleeping outside the business. Officers cancelled EMS because the party did not need medical attention. The party was identified and had non-extradition warrants for auto-burglary out of Putnam County Tennessee. A field interview was conducted, and he was given a courtesy ride to 11th Street. 24-007209 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane – Suspicious Activity – A party came to the East Ridge Police Department and reported someone had put a tracker on her vehicle. While officers were talking with the party, she pointed out every car that passed by and claimed they were following her. It was determined this party was a mental health consumer.
24-007211 – 1000 BLK McHann Drive – Disorder – Police responded to a verbal disorder among family members. An adult male left the home on foot and heavily intoxicated. He was located behind Old Ringgold Road. He refused to contact his family for assistance and was arrested for Public Intoxication.
24-007215 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Traffic – After a traffic stop for speeding a party was arrested for Driving While License Revoked, Suspended and having an extraditable warrant out of Prince George’s County, Maryland.
24-007218 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was served warrants for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Possession of Crack Cocaine and Evading Arrest.
