The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
June 8 Day Shift
No number assigned- 6400 blk of Ringgold Road- Evading-
Police attempted a traffic stop on a white Jeep. (TN M6456F) The driver failed to stop and fled north on I-75. There was no tag record found per dispatch.
21-008088- Prigmore Road @ Spriggs Street- Check Hazard-
Police were dispatched on a fallen tree in the roadway. The street department responded and removed the tree from the roadway.
21-007368- 6674 Ringgold Road (Roadway Inn?)- Stolen Vehicle Recovery-
CPD recovered a stolen U-Haul today. There were no suspects located. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
21-008090- 6712 Ringgold Road (Public Storage)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a homeless male sleeping behind a dumpster on the property. On arrival police encountered Benny Buchanan. He was checked for warrants and several were located out of Maury County, but they advised they would not pick him up. He was issued a misdemeanor citation for drug paraphernalia and sent on his way.
21-008093- 4400 blk of Ringgold Road- Disorder-
The caller advised of a white male and female walking along Ringgold Road that appeared to be fighting/arguing. On arrival police checked the area but it appeared the two had already gone.
21-008097- McBrien Road @ Weaver Street- Disorder-
The caller advised her 16-year-old son was refusing to get into the car and walking away. On arrival police located the juvenile at the intersection of South Moore Road at North Terrace. Police spoke with the juvenile and he decided to get into the car with his mother.
21-008099- 5325 Roosevelt Road- Vehicle Burglary-
The caller advised an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and took his handgun. On arrival police spoke with the victim. She stated an unknown suspect entered her vehicle and stole her black Sig Sauer P365 9mm handgun from the center console sometime between 6 and 8 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry to her vehicle and it is believed the vehicle was unintentionally left unlocked. The firearm was entered in NCIC. She requested her residence be put on the watch list.
21-008102- 1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- AOA-
CCSO Detectives located a male at the motel with possible warrants out of their county. On arrival Nathan Moore was taken into custody and transported to new 601.

4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – 21-008122 –
Desota Lovett was detained by HCSO deputies on a traffic stop and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on an East Ridge warrant.
Altamaha St @ Anderson Ave / Felony Evading (21-008117):
Police observed a gray Audi bearing a temporary registration with a non-functioning driver’s side brake light traveling at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver refused to stop for police, driving in all lanes of traffic. Police discontinued attempting to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was occupied by a white male driver and a female passenger.
21-008110 4350 Ringgold Road / Traffic Stop / Arrest:
Jonathan Walker and Sandra Forbes were arrested for possession of Schedule II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.
19-011522 4214 Ringgold Rd. Warrant Service:
Jacorie Montgomery was arrested on outstanding East Ridge warrants for Theft under $1,000.
21-008112/ 6674 Ringgold Road (Oyo) / Assault:
Complainant reported that Sid Patel showed up at his place of work. Sid Patel appeared to be intoxicated on an unknown substance and became agitated using “abusive language” towards the victim. Sid Patel picked up a 2 x 4 board and struck the victim across the wrist, leaving a large abrasion and swelling around the bone. He also struck him in the buttocks, but the victim stated he did not sustain an injury there. Patel left the scene in a white, late model Mercedes G-Class SUV prior to police arrival.
