The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
May 28 – Day Shift
1410 Mack Smith Road (theft recovery):
Police recovered a stolen 1994 Harley Davidson Sportster from parking lot of the Budgetel. The bike was towed by Cannon’ Wrecker Service.
728 Frawley Road (warrant):
Cory Harvey was taken into custody for multiple East Ridge warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
4100 Ringgold Road (drug arrest):
Marcus Walton was arrested for possession of meth for resale and possession of Hydrocodone for resale following a traffic stop at this location.

May 28 – Night Shift
5811 Ringgold Rd (Theft from vehicle):
The complainant had her Hipoint 9mm stolen from her vehicle while she was inside of Elations. The gun was entered into NCIC. A woman with the complainant had her iPhone 11 and wallet taken from inside of the vehicle as well.
4100 Ringgold Rd (DUI):
John Doe (Jaguel Romero) was arrested for driving under the influence, speeding, and driving an unregistered vehicle following a traffic stop at this location.

May 29 – Day Shift
6519 Ringgold Road (Super 8 Motel)- Auto theft-
The caller advised one of his workers stole a company dump truck sometime last night. The truck is a tri axel Mack dump truck white in color. The caller was unable to provide any further information for the vehicle. He also declined to prosecute the suspect. He advised he just wants his truck back.
1421 Wright Street- Suspicious Person/Drug Arrest-
Police contacted the suspicious male at 6650 Ringgold Road. While officers were speaking with the subject, Adam Wilson, officers located a small pill container lying next to his suitcase. Officers asked Wilson about the pill container and he stated he had no knowledge of the container. As officers opened the container Wilson fled across the parking lot. He was pursued, tased and taken into custody. The pill container had a small plastic bag containing less than one gram of suspected heroin and a straw. Officer searched a backpack Wilson was carrying. Officers located a first-aid type kit in the backpack. the kit contained numerous syringes and a set of digital scales. Wilson was taken into custody for Possession of Schedule I, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Evading Arrest.
5911 Ringgold Road (Tweety’sAutomart/Chattanooga Camper Sales)-Suspicious Person-
The caller advised as he was passing the business, he observed a suspicious white male attempting to make entry into a camper on the lot. Upon arrival in the area police encountered Zachary Lowman. Lowman was found to have warrants through Hamilton County. He was detained and transported to 601.
5406 Connell Street- Scammer-
Police spoke with the complainant in reference to bazaar photos and text messages that he received on his phone. The complainant advised at around 1330 hours he received a text from 510-473-8011 via “WhatsApp”, saying the unknown person was with the “cartel” and if he didn’t send them money, they would kill his wife. The complainant advised he also received a photo depicting a gruesome murder, allegedly committed by the “cartel”. The complainant advised he has only received one text from the unknown number. He was advised to delete the above app and change his number.

May 29 – Night Shift
1426 S. Moore Rd / Traffic:
Christopher Muina was issued a citation for simple possession following a traffic stop at this location.
I-75 south / AOA pursuit:
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office pursued a stolen vehicle I-75 south. The deputy was alone and East Ridge allowed a car to assist him until another agency could join. Officers pursued the vehicle into a neighborhood near Wooten Rd. where the suspects went off road and fled from the vehicle on foot. The vehicle was recovered however, the suspects were able to avoid capture. The suspects are known to frequent East Ridge, primarily the local gas station.
3507 Ringgold Road –
Sarah Atwell was arrested for possession of Schedule IV drugs and tampering with evidence during a traffic stop.
5812 Ringgold Road –
Ray Hill Jr was arrested for tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute during a traffic stop.
3507 Ringgold Rd/ Arrest:
Police arrested Deonte Williams for violation of protection order following a traffic stop.

May 30 – Day Shift
On Friday May 29, 2020 at approximately 1900 hours officer with the East Ridge Police Department were notified by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office booking deputies a party arrested and transported to the jailer earlier on this date had supplied false information about his identity. Eric Clay Wilson provided officers with the name Adam Wilson to avoid arrest and prosecution of numerous felony warrants in Georgia. Wilson had been charged with Possession of Schedule 1 – Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Evading Arrest by East Ridge Police Officers. An additional warrant for Identity Theft will be sought against Eric Wilson.
940 Spring Creek Road- Wellbeing Check-
The caller advised of a white male slumped over in a wheelchair. Upon arrival officers spoke with him then assisted him to Parkridge East Hospital. During the encounter officers noticed his wheelchair was broken so they were able to acquire a new one for him. They also acquired several clothing items.
201 Eads Street #344 (Dogwood Place Apartments)- Burglary in Progress/Warrant Arrest-
The caller advised her ex-boyfriend Logan Odom and his friend were attempting to break into her apartment. Upon arrival police encountered Odom and his friend in the parking lot. Odom advised he was there to retrieve his property and was upset that his ex-girlfirend wouldn’t open the door. Both men were checked for warrants. Odom was found to have Hamilton County warrants. He was detained and transported to 601.
1302 Spring Creek Road- Warrant Service-
Samuel Helton was arrested on East Ridge warrant number 141340 at this address. He was transported to 601.

May 30 – Night Shift
2145 Dugan St. / Suspicious Activity:
Police responded to this location after a gold Impala pulled into this driveway and a male party exited the vehicle and began walking around the house. Police contacted the male party identified as James Crawford and determined him to be intoxicated. James was attempting to go to his mother’s house after leaving 2153 Dugan but did not make it. Crawford was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
5310 Connell Street/Assist Citizen-CPS:
Child Protective Services removed a 5-weeks old infant from the care of its parents. Police stood by to keep the peace.

May 31 – Night Shift
1013 Spring Creek Rd. / Warrant Service:
Brandon Mannis was taken into custody for an East Ridge warrant following a traffic stop at this location.
4500 Rossville BLVD / Disorder:
Police responded to the McDonalds on Rossville BLVD to assist Chattanooga Police Department disperse a large crowd causing a disorder at this location.
4100 Ringgold Rd. / DUI Arrest:
Dani Perez was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
6401 Ringgold Road / Disorder:
Staff at McDonalds called police due to two females causing a disorder inside the restaurant. Police made contact with the vehicle at 4339 Ringgold Road. The suspects were identified as Hollie Martin and Ashley Bush. Both females were issued misdemeanor citations for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were also criminally trespassed from McDonalds. Warrants for criminal impersonation are being sought for Bush. Bush also had verified Hamilton County warrants but was not transported to jail due to civil unrest in the area. Hamilton County Sergeant was contacted, and he advised that a county unit couldn’t respond to pick her up and to send her on her way.
6650 Ringgold Rd. La Quinta Inn. / Burglary:
Management from the La Quinta Inn called and stated that a male was actively breaking into the laundry room. Officers arrived on scene and the manager pointed out the subject as he was walking away from the building. Officers made contact and detained the male identified as Mark Reece. Reese seemed to be intoxicated and was paranoid. Officers located an entire cleaning cart full of supply’s that Reece had removed from the laundry room and had made it into the parking lot. Reece was also found to be wearing a La Quinta shirt that he had stolen from the laundry room. Reece was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County following a brief struggle.
