The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
July 8 Day Shift
6721 Ringgold Road (disorder/criminal trespass):
Deshawn Cordell Brazell and Carmen Denise Henley were criminally trespassed from the Family Dollar after engaging in a verbal disorder with store staff due to their extended presence on the property. Both parties claimed they understood and left without further incident.
6976 Tiffany Lane (vehicle burglary):
The resident reported his 1997 Nissan Titan was entered sometime during the night by an unknown party after it was left unsecured in his driveway. Lowery advised his chrome and blue .40 cal Taurus PT 24/7 was the only thing taken from the vehicle. The complainant did not have any information for the firearm. No suspect information.
6882 Tiffany Lane (vehicle burglary):
The resident parked her car at her home yesterday afternoon, and early this morning she found the vehicle’s contents scattered on the front seats. No items were missing. No suspect information.
1410 N. Mack Smith Road (civil matter):
A resident at the Budgetel, called to report her vehicle stolen. The vehicle was located on Brainerd Road, and the woman driving it claimed to be the owner. Neither had any proof of ownership, and the vehicle was not registered. It was towed to Cannon’s pending proper proof of ownership.
6708 Ringgold Road (suspicious vehicle):
The clerk at the Circle K called police stating two black males pulled onto the lot in a white Chrysler 3000 before leaving in a red Tahoe that arrived a short time later. The men left the car running and the doors unlocked, although the key was not present. Police were unable to make contact with the registered owner. Management had the vehicle towed by Brian’s Wrecker Service.
1305 A Boyd Street (auto theft):
The complainant stated he had left his vehicle running while he ran inside his home for a moment. This is when the vehicle, a red 2013 Chevy Camaro, was taken. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.

Night Shift
5307 Anderson Ave (Assault on First Responder 20008755):
Police responded to this location, to assist EMS and East Ridge Fire Fighters with an intoxicated party. Upon arrival police contacted William Henry. Mr. Henry was extremely intoxicated and attempted to punch a Fire Fighter. Police arrested Mr. Henry for assault on a first responder.
2011 Myrtle Ave (Disorder/Warrant):
Police responded to Myrtle Ave on report of a disorder. Police made contact with Douglas Davis at 4229 Greenbriar Rd. Davis had a an East Ridge warrant for petition to revoke (possession of meth). Davis was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4214 Ringgold Rd (A.O.A):
Marcus Dimon was taken into custody by Huckabee Bonding agents on a bond revocation for criminal trespassing. East Ridge Police transported Mr. Dimon to the Hamilton County Jail.
6650 Ringgold Road (La Quinta)- 20-008750 –
Hotel staff called PD to remove parties due to the odor of marijuana coming from the room. They were advised to leave and talk to management about a refund. Officers were called back out to the hotel because the employee was not allowing the party to speak to management. Officers gave her the information she requested and advised her to leave.
6674 Ringgold Rd (Public Intoxication 20-008764):
Terry Griifin was taken into custody for public intoxication after the motel clerk said he was causing a disorder.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 20-008763):
Eartha Johnson was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on multiple East Ridge warrants.
6514 Ringgold Road (Mapco 20-008749):
Reporting party called stating a white female, who police later identified as Kelly Vaughn, was snorting narcotics up her nose. When police arrived, it was discovered Vaughn had a warrant through sessions and was taken into custody.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant 20-008766):
Charles Hudson was taken into custody by Polk County SO for three East Ridge warrants. A hold has been placed on Hudson for ERPD to pick up.
1 Bloom Rd (Vandalism 20-008765):
While patrolling the area of Bloom Road police noticed an EPB pole and utility box with tagging on it. The tagging said F.T.G. in purple writing and blue dots. The color is similar to other tagging found within the city limits. EPB was not contacted due to the time of the incident.
