The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
July 02 – Day Shift
3824 Altamira Drive- Vehicle Burglary-
On arrival police spoke with the complainant. He advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect entered his work van and took property. Complainant stated three paint sprayers were taken from the unlocked vehicle. The paint sprayers were described as follows: a blue Graco Ultra Max II 795, a red Graco 395 Ultra Pro, and a red Titan Impact 440. Osorio further stated the paint sprayers all belonged to Roberto Reyes.
6600 blk of Ringgold- Suspicious Person-
A man was found sleeping next to the roadway. He advised he was having car trouble and became stranded. Due to his age he was transported to his daughter’s residence in Georgia.
300 blk of Camp Jordan Parkway (Ball Fields)-
Unknown 911 No Sounds of Distress- Upon arrival police checked the area. Nothing out of the ordinary was located.
1312 West End Avenue- Disorder-
The caller advised of several males and females yelling and screaming at this condemned residence. Upon arrival no one was located.
5305 Connell Street- Wellbeing Check-
The caller advised her son was high on paint thinner and somewhat unconscious. She requested officers respond and remove him. Upon arrival he was in the back yard extremely intoxicated. EMS responded and transported the man to a medical facility.
6650 Ringgold Road (La Quinta Inn)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a white male wearing a camouflage hoodie in the lobby acting strange. She further advised upon asking the male if he needed help, he left the motel. He was last seen walking toward the Quality Inn. Upon arrival police checked the area but located no one matching that description.
902 Belvoir Hills Drive- Property Damage-
The resident called to report sometime during the night an unknown suspect busted the rear window of his vehicle. He advised he suspects his child’s mother’s daughter is responsible for the damage, but he has no evidence to support his feelings.
Warrant Service-
Brandon Torbush was served an East Ridge warrant at 601.

July 02 –Night Shift
701 Manufactures Road/Arrest-Warrant:
Jennifer C. Whitaker was arrested on a capias warrant.
501 S. Moore Road/Noise Complaint-Fireworks:
Fireworks reported behind OLPH. A check of the area did not locate anyone or fireworks.
5308 Connell / Disorder:
Police were called by Joshua Mclain in reference to his brother Travis Mclain who was allegedly on his way to kill him. While speaking to Joshua Mclain police observed a green Toyota Corolla which was partially concealed behind the residence. The vehicle appeared to have been recently spray painted red and displayed no registration plate. After Joshua Mclain advised it was his vehicle police received consent to enter the yard to check the vehicle which confirmed as stolen. Joshua Mclain was taken into custody for theft over $2,500 and the vehicle was removed by Broom’s. While on scene Travis Mclain arrived and was taken into custody for Dade County warrants.
601 Walnut St. / Warrant:
Antonio Toma-Toma was served with an active East Ridge warrant while at the Hamilton County Jail.
3725 Fountain Ave #81 / Burglary:
Police responded to this location in reference to a burglary. After arriving on scene and speaking with the resident it was discovered the house was entered approximately 2.5 hours prior to calling police and had been cleaned prior to police arrival. The resident did advise police she was missing $1,250 in cash.
400 Camp Jordan Parkway / Found Property:
The reporting party was fishing off of the bridge at Camp Jordan Parkway with a magnet and rope. During one of his casts, he pulled up a Black Powder, cap and ball, replica pistol with SN: R482263 on the hand grip. Dispatch ran pistol through NCIC but didn’t get a return on it. Police entered it into Property and Evidence.
6955 Glen Errol Way / Noise Complaint (Fireworks):
Police responded to a complaint of fireworks at this location around 0013 hours. Police check the area but nothing was located.
3728 Ringgold Rd (Little Caesars)/ Threats:
A unknown caller called the store and made threats to shoot Little Caesars employees and law enforcement because the store does not except food stamps. Warrants are pending the identity of the caller. Report filed.
1797 Keeble St/ supplemental:
CPD located a stolen vehicle that was originally reported stolen from East Ridge. Police were unable to get in touch with the victim and the vehicle was towed to Mosteller’s wrecker service, located at 2198 E 24 St, Chattanooga, Tn. The Tag CNN897 is still reported as missing, due to it not being on the vehicle.
5301 Ringgold Road / Drug arrest:
Jajuan Rivers was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and drug paraphernalia. Tatiyana Hunter was arrested for aggravated assault on police, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana for resale following a traffic stop in which police located 133.4 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle.

July 03 – Day Shift
639 Camp Jordan Parkway (missing person):
Chick-fil-A employees called police about a black male walking down the road who appeared to be blind. Police made contact with a male subject who, according to NCIC, had escaped from Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. He was transported to Parkridge East Hospital for a physical and mental evaluation. Johns Hopkins advised dispatch they would be contacting the hospital to make arrangements for him.

July 03 – Night Shift
6642 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 20-008445):
Mary Rhodes was arrested for DUI after a consensual contact at the Econo Lodge
6401 Ringgold Rd (AOA Warrant Arrest 20-008450):
Glenn Dial was located sleeping behind the dumpster at McDonalds. Dial had verified warrants through Hamilton County. He was transported to the Hamilton County jail.
1417 St Thomas (AOA Warrant Arrest 20-008457):
Devonta Norris was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on a domestic assault warrant.
1500 Prigmore Rd (Juvenile Arrest 20-008440):
A 17-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody and transported to JDU for simple possession of marijuana.
1417 St Thomas St (Narcotics Arrest 20-008460:
Police responded to the Motel 6 after a caller stated a white male had come running into the motel saying police were looking for him. Officers arrived and attempted to make contact with the male. He fled police running south across Ringgold Rd. As he fled a semi-automatic handgun fell from his shorts. Police captured the subject, James Costlow behind 6708 Ringgold Rd. Costlow had a bag containing digital scales and methamphetamine on his person. Costlow also had the keys to a 2016 Volkswagen. Police had observed Costlow exiting the vehicle just prior to being called about his suspicious behavior. As police continued their investigation a while female, Jessica Board, was located near the vehicle. Board was found to have warrants through East Ridge and Hamilton County. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Costlow was charged with Possession Schedule II, Drug Paraphernalia, Evading, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The vehicle was towed to the East Ridge Police Department Impound lot pending application and execution of a search warrant.
1600 McDonald Rd (Citizen Assist):
Reporting party’s vehicle was in park, but transmission thought it was in reverse still. Police popped the hood and got the gears working properly again.

July 04 – Day Shift
4150 Ringgold Road (shoplifting):
Two black females exited Walmart with a shopping cart loaded with unpaid merchandise and left in a gold Chevy Malibu (bearing TN Tag# 4M24J8). Suspects with GOA.
4235 Greenbriar Road (auto burglaries):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding two vehicles that were entered during the night. One vehicle had twenty dollars stolen, and the other vehicle had two dollars and the vehicle registration stolen. One vehicle was locked and the other was unlocked.
Ringgold Road at Maxwell Road (warrant service):
Shaun Minton was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location. Mr. Minton had an active warrant out of Sequatchie County.
2013 McBrien Road (vehicle burglary):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a vehicle that had been rummaged through. The RP stated he had left his vehicle unlocked, and nothing was taken.
5707 Ringgold Road (theft):
Sharla Bradley and Timothy Tackett were issued misdemeanor citations for shoplifting from the Dollar General Store.
5707 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Timothy Tackett was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for an outstanding warrant out of Catoosa County.

July 04 – Night Shift
Fireworks:
Police handled over 100 contacts regarding noise complaints over fireworks. Officers issued uncounted warnings and several citations for repeated abuse of the fireworks ordinance.
842 Belvoir Hills Dr (Vandalism 20-008544):
RP stated someone had spray painted her mailbox and several signs in her yard. Warrants sought for Richard Covington.
838 Belvoir Hills Dr (Vandalism 20-008551):
Richard Covington was identified as a party who vandalized personal property at this address as well. Warrants are being sought for Covington’s arrest.
6514 Ringgold Rd (Public Intoxication Arrest 20-008547):
Darryl Powers was arrested for public intoxication after becoming enraged and spitting on the Mapco clerk. Powers was upset because she would not sell him more beer.
4300 Ringgold Rd (Misdemeanor Citation 20-008464):
Carlos Perez was issued a misdemeanor citation for knowingly allowing a juvenile to operate a motor vehicle without a license. The juvenile was also cited for drug paraphernalia and underage consumption of beer.
1410 N Mack Smith Rd (Disorder 20-008560):
While patrolling 1410 N Mack Smith police observed two males in a disorder. The disorder was verbal only and they agreed to calm down for the rest of the evening.
1417 St Thomas St (Fight):
Police were dispatched to a fight in room 109. When police arrived, it was learned the commotion was a very loud verbal disorder between girlfriends. They agreed to be quiet for the remainder of the night.
16 Woodard Cir (Domestic Assault 20-008562):
Timothy Durham was taken into custody after physically assaulting his sister. Durham had returned home from a night of heavy drinking and allegedly head-butted her.

July 05 – Day Shift
3319 Gleason Drive (auto burglary):
A vehicle was entered overnight at this address, and a purse was stolen. No suspect information is available.
6725 Ringgold Road (theft):
A black male and possibly Asian male purchased a pack of batteries at the Family Dollar and paid with a hundred dollar bill. While the clerk made change the men swapped the hundred with a small bill and left the store. They left the area in a white or pearl colored SUV with out of state tags.
1609 John Ross Road (misdemeanor citation):
Brittany N. Crowe was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia at this location.
900 S. Crest Drive at Missionaire Avenue (AOA):
A broken down Chevrolet 3500 boom truck was reported at this location. Police were informed of two white females who left it. The truck was discovered to be one of two vehicles recently stolen from Walker County, Georgia. The two females, Brittany Crowe and Christina F. were later located in the 1600 block of John Ross Road. CPD was contacted and responded to the scene.
3402 Missionaire Avenue Apt. B (vehicle burglary):
The complainant reported that sometime last night unknown parties removed a 3’x3’ green-beige Yeti cooler from his pick-up truck, along with two multi-meter volt testers from the vehicle’s tool box. No suspect information is available.

July 05 – Night Shift
Fireworks again…….
5003 Newport Dr (Vandalism 20-008585):
Police responded to this address after the homeowner noticed “FTP” spray painted on the street in front of his residence. Report on file.
1400 Block of McBrien (Assist Fire):
Police assisted East Ridge Fire Dept with a vehicle fire. The driver did not sustain any injuries and told police he had recently completed some electrical work on his vehicle.
5308 Ringgold Rd (Animals At Large):
Police responded when citizens called stating horses were running wild behind Fernando’s Restaurant. Witnesses say one of the horses was near the 1500 block of McBrien Rd close to the roadway. Animal services was notified and responded because one of the horses had become entangled in a rope and injured its leg. The owner agreed to trailer the horses until he could relocate them.
482 McBrien Rd (Assist Fire/Arson 20-008601):
Police responded with fire to a commercial building fire. Police arrived and determined the dumpster behind the business was on fire, not the building. Fire responded and suppressed the blaze. A second fire was called into Fire and Police a few moments later at 4131 Ringgold Rd, Jones Memorial United Methodist. The dumpster there was set ablaze when someone dumped live fireworks into it.
1402 Manna Ln (Citizen Assist 20-008607):
RP asked police to check the residence after they observed flickering lights outside. Dispatch explained to the caller the lights were most likely those of EMS who was on a call on Cecil Ln. The caller asked police to respond to check their residence and yard anyway. The flickering light was actually a ceiling fan in the apartment which had fallen from the ceiling but was still spinning.
3503 Claremont Ave (Assault 20-008610):
Angela H. stated she was packing her RV to move from this address to an address on Lookout Mountain. Angela stated a woman she only knows as “Veronica” had come by with a white male she does not know. Angela stated the subjects left for a short time but returned. Angela said “Veronica” told her she was looking for a pink handbag she thought she must have dropped while she was there. Angela stated she told “Veronica” she had not seen a pink handbag. Angela went on to state “Veronica” and the male began looking around for the pink handbag. Angela told “Veronica” and the male they would have to leave as she needed to pack. Veronica and the male began beating Angela in the head and then fled the scene. Angela told police the male suspect may have been Jason M. Angela’s nose and face showed signs of assault (blood around her nose and face).
.6708 Ringgold Rd (AOA Warrant):
Police made contact with Breanna Tarrell, after she was seen crossing the street in an unsafe manner. Police discovered her to have a driving under the influence warrant through Hamilton County. Ms. Tarrell was transported to the Hamilton County jail, where she was served her warrant.
6600 Ringgold Rd (Traffic Arrest 20-008612):
Jamaal Pointer was arrested for Driving While Revoked for DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
