July 15 Day Shift
5600 blk of Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person/Public Intoxication Arrest-
While on patrol police observed a white male stumbling in the east bound lanes of Ringgold Road. The white male was identified as James Eady. Upon speaking with him he was noticeably intoxicated. Eady stated he had been drinking alcoholic beverages most of the previous night and early morning. Officers determined Eady was a threat to himself and the public due to his level of intoxication. He was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
3657 Ringgold Road (Cascades Motel)- Suicidal Person/Wellbeing Check-
Police were requested by a hospice worker to check on a male subject. Upon arrival officers spoke to the man. He was transported to Parkridge East for a mental evaluation.
1707 Heather Street- Unknown Trouble-
The caller advised he was hearing an unknown female screaming for help. Upon arrival police were informed the female left in an unknown vehicle headed in an unknown direction.
5408 Ringgold Road (Valero)- Theft-
The caller advised she accidentally left her phone at the business and someone took it. Upon arrival police viewed the surveillance video and observed an unknown white female pick up the phone before leaving the business in an unknown direction.
4300 blk of Worsham Avenue- Unknown 911-
Dispatch advised of a phase two location on a 911 hang-up call in the area. There were no sounds of distress. Upon arrival nothing was located.
3500 Navajo Drive- Noise Complaint-
An anonymous caller reported a truck bed pool party at this location becoming obnoxious. Police spoke to a female that advised it was her birthday, police wished her happy birthday and told her to keep the noise down. She advised they would turn the music down.
5517 Ringgold Road (Coin Laundry)- Fight-
The caller advised of two females fighting in the business. Upon arrival officers encountered two women. Both advised there was no physical fight, but they were arguing. Both were checked for warrants and sent on their way.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Warrant Service-
Monica Jones/Millsap was detained on Georgia warrants and transported to 601 Walnut Street.
1000 Bass Pro Drive (Bass Pro)- Found Property-
A good Samaritan found a wallet belonging to Chase C. Contact was made with the owner and he came to the station to retrieve his property.

Night Shift
5341 Hasten Court (Domestic Violence 20-009134):
A 17-year-old male was taken into custody and transported to JDU after obvious signs of assault were observed on his mother’s arms. The mother stated they argued all day and the verbal argument escalated into the male juvenile wrestling her and striking her.
1517 Fruitland Dr (Property Damage 20-009135):
Reporting party called stating he had noticed last night a lock on his boat trailer was damaged/cut. Wished to file a report in case someone had attempted to steal it.
1223 Reeves Ave (Assault/Public Intoxication 20-009139):
Rodney Ballard was arrested for public intoxication in front of this address after he was observed standing in the roadway intoxicated. Police responded to this location on report of a fight between Ballard and the resident. Both men showed signs of assault but neither wished to press charges. Ballard could not call for a ride to take him home and he was clearly too unsteady on his feet to walk home. Ballard also had a vehicle at this address at his disposal. The decision of arrest was made for Ballard’s safety and that of the public.
614 S Seminole Dr (Property Damage 20-009141:
Reporting party stated a group of juveniles had been playing around her house. They ran and threw something into the bushes next to her home which created a large boom leaving marks on the side of the house.
6674 Ringgold Rd (Runaway Juvenile /Arrest 20-009143):
A man contacted police to report his juvenile son had run away this morning. Police had contact with the juvenile earlier this morning (approximately 0130) when he was found walking in the 6700 block of Ringgold Rd. Report on file and NCIC notified. The juvenile was located at approximately 2315 hours at 1417 St Thomas St. When police attempted to detain the juvenile he became combative and pulled away. He was detained and returned to his father. Once in his father’s custody he ran from the room becoming increasingly disorderly and again attempted to keep police from detaining him. He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
1412 Reeves Ave (Suspicious Activity/Stolen Vehicle Recover/Narcotics 20-009153):
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity and located five subjects standing in the street around two vehicles and two motorcycles. Police determined one of the vehicles, a white BMW, to be stolen. Korey Allmond was arrested on multiple warrants through Hamilton County and East Ridge. A female, Jada Lankford, was arrested on warrants for the theft of the vehicle and multiple East Ridge warrants. Veronica Trouigas was misdemeanor cited for drug paraphernalia. Two other people were checked for warrants and released.
601 Walnut (Warrant Arrest 20-008164):
Corey Abernathy was arrested on multiple East Ridge warrants.
1100 John Ross Rd (Narcotics Arrest 20-009161):
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving 1201 Reeves Ave after overhearing Jada Lankford ask someone to respond to the address and pick up her “bag.” Police observed a white Subaru with expired registration leave the residence. The stop was initiated and contact made with James Appugliese. Appugliese consented to a search of his vehicle. A bag containing suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin (8 grams), and paraphernalia were located in the trunk area of the vehicle. Appugliese was armed with a .22 caliber pistol. He is charged with Possession of Schedule I for Resale, Possession of Schedule II, Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Firearm During a Felony.
