The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” furnished by the administration of ERPD.
July 11 – Day Shift
1400 blk of Choate Road- Traffic Stop/Evading-
Police stopped a 1990 Chevy S10 for a seat belt violation. While speaking with the driver and passengers the driver decided to flee the traffic stop. Just before the driver left, the male passenger, Richard Harmon, exited the vehicle. The driver, Rick Potter and an unknown female passenger fled the scene traveling north. Harmon was issued a citation for his seat belt violation. Warrants are pending on Potter.
6116 Ringgold Road (J&J Food Mart)- Theft-
The caller advised an unknown black male in an unknown vehicle left with his belongings after driving him to the business. A report was filed.
3714 Ringgold Road (Dollar Plus)- Alarm-
Police responded to check the business. Upon arrival the building appeared to be secure.
1705 Adair Avenue- Vehicle Burglary-
The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect entered her vehicle and took money. She advised this is an ongoing issue. Report on file.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Wellbeing Check-
The anonymous caller called again today regarding children in the room alone. Upon arrival the children were being watched by an adult.
1000 Bass Pro Drive (Bass Pro)- Warrant Service-
Angela Warren was detained and transported to 601 on Hamilton County warrants after attempting to purchase a firearm.
4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Shoplifting-
The caller advised a black male and female entered the store and took approximately $100 in alcohol products. The two left the area in an older model Chevy SUV. They were last seen traveling west on Ringgold Road.

July 11 – Night Shift
5394 Reneau Way / Shooting:
Police responded regarding a report of a person shot. While in route, dispatch advised police that the victim was shot while confronting suspects who were attempting to burglarize vehicles in the neighborhood and the suspects had left in a black SUV. The victim was located suffering from two gunshot wounds to both lower legs. He was transported to Erlanger ER by EMS. Evidence located on scene was preserved and Detective E. Massengale was notified and responded to the scene.
800 S Seminole Dr/Arrest:
Charles Rudder was arrested for criminal impersonation, poss. of heroin, poss. of fentanyl for resale and tampering with evidence after a consensual encounter at this location.
1521 Springvale / Domestic:
Police responded to this location in reference to a disorder. Once on scene it was determined Katherine Gilbert had struck a woman in the head with a metal baseball bat. Gilbert was taken into custody for Aggravated Domestic Assault.
6200 Ringgold Rd / DUI:
Houston Headrick was taken into custody for felony evading, DUI 2nd, and reckless driving following a traffic stop at this location.
4200 Ringgold Rd. / Narc. Violation:
Serenity Roberson was issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession following a traffic stop.

July 12 – Day Shift
6700 Ringgold Road (Quality Inn)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a female in the lobby of the motel refusing to leave. Upon arrival police spoke to the woman. She appeared to be in some sort of mental distress. She was taken into protective custody and transported to Parkridge East.
Delaware Drive @ Pyron Lane- Domestic Disorder-
The caller advised of a white male and female arguing in the street. The caller advised the two were last seen traveling on foot south on Pyron. Upon arrival in the area police located the couple on Maryland Drive. They were identified and both advised the disorder was verbal in nature.
5700 blk of Ringgold Road- DUI Arrest-
The caller, a Puckett EMS employee, stated he witnessed a white SUV with a drive-out tag crossing multiple lanes of traffic back and forth heading E bound on Ringgold Rd with what he described as no regard for other vehicles or public safety. Once in the area police did locate a vehicle matching the description at 5719 Ringgold Rd. The driver of the white SUV, a Hispanic male, presented with slurred speech and erratic hand gestures. When police asked the driver to get his ID, he reached for air fresheners hanging from the rear-view mirror twice. The driver stated his name was Pablo but could present no form of identification. In plain view police could see multiple open containers, later confirmed to be 13 open containers of Heineken, Corona, and Michelob Ultra, in the center console, the rear floorboard, and the floor on the passenger side. Police asked the suspect to step out of the vehicle to perform a field sobriety test. Once out of the vehicle the suspect was swaying while standing and utilizing the vehicle to maintain his balance. Police attempted a field sobriety test, but the suspect was unable to complete any of the given tests due to his level of intoxication. The suspect continued to have difficulty standing, slurred speech, and utilizing surrounding vehicles to prevent from falling over. Police took the unknown Hispanic male into custody for DUI, driving without a license, and open container. Suspect was cleared and taken to the Hamilton Co Jail for booking. Police will seek a blood draw warrant to determine blood alcohol content. Vehicle towed by East Ridge Auto.
5441 Dupont Street (Dutch Manor)- Domestic Assault-
Police responded to a domestic assault complaint at the police department. Upon arrival police met with the reporting party. She advised her half-sister, assaulted her in their residence on 7-11-20. She advised she was also assaulted by her mother today. Warrants are being sought.

Michael Brock was detained and transported to 601 on Hamilton County warrants.

July 12 – Night Shift
1603 Keeble St / Burglary in Progress:
Police responded to a burglary in progress at this location. Once on scene it was determined the resident had met someone on Facebook who broke into his residence by shoving him to the ground and took his credit cards. The suspect, April Terrell, was still on scene and taken into custody for aggravated burglary, assault, theft, and possession of controlled substance.
4101 Eastway Ter / Narcotic Arrest:
Police conducted a traffic stop on Paul Hayes for illegal window tint. During the stop a K-9 responded and indicated on the vehicle. When police searched the vehicle, they located crack cocaine, clear bags, a digital scale, and $1,730. Hayes was arrested for possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. The money that was located was seized.
5337 Ringgold Road:
Nicole Lesavoy was issued a misdemeanor citation for drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop.
1500 Keeble Street:
Timothy Cosby was taken into custody on Hamilton County warrants following a traffic stop.
